Perhaps the most Jeremy answer of all time. Most people put their faith in men— they want to be rescued. They don’t want freedom. H.L. Mencken said, “the average man does not want to be free. He simply wants to be safe.” Jeremy suggests to put your faith in God, rather than yourself. This is true, but interesting that his interpretation is that most people put faith in themselves. I would wonder if that’s really true. Jeremy has maybe found the balance of faith in God, but also a measure of faith in himself— and that’s why he’s successful. I don’t know Jeremy, but I feel like it’s a revealing insight. Loved this conversation (I’ll post the link below). Hate hearing about the pain of transition from DW, tbh. But mostly just so glad he’s still building. It’s just the beginning, again! I just want you to succeed Jeremy Boreing! 😂
