In Pardubice, Czech Republic, a group of pro-Palestinian activists from an unknown organization called Earthquake Faction set fire to a manufacturing facility belonging to L.P.P., a company that produces drones for Ukraine. The activists claim that this is a โproduction site for Israeli weapons,โ which is, of course, nonsense. LPP signed a memorandum years ago with the Israeli company Elbit Systems to manufacture drones in the event that the Czech Army ordered them. Which did not happen. Given that no one knows anything about the Earthquake Faction, their website was launched this week, the company manufactured primarily for Ukraine, and Russia has a history of several terrorist attacks, acts of sabotage, and attempted ones, in Czechia, I canโt help but say that this seems suspicious to me, to say the least. In any case, I hope the perpetrators are caught, whether they are pro-Palestinian activists or Russians, and that they are charged and sentenced to a long prison term for a terrorist attack. The secret services are already looking into the case.

In the video, the Senior Officer of the self-propelled artillery battery praises the howitzer. The armored cabin, automation and FCS received positive reviews. The DITA is operated by a crew of three, but only two are needed for its full operation. Typically, the howitzer conducts fire missions from concealed and camouflaged positions and dugouts. Interestingly, about three additional soldiers are required for drone defense, with the specific task of neutralizing any approaching UAVs.

๐จ๐ฟ#Czechia: Demonstration of the MRSI (Multiple round simultaneous impact) capability of the EXCALIBUR ARMYโs 155mm/L45 DITA self-propelled gun howitzer. Thanks to the high level of automation, the howitzer crew consists of only two soldiers, with an emergency station for a third crewman in the turret. DITA is built on the Tatra 815 chassis and weighs 29 tonnes. The range is 39km and the sustained fire rate is 5 rounds per minute. Series production for specific customers started this year.

#Ukraine/#Russia ๐บ๐ฆ๐ท๐บ: According to information available to me, the ๐ธ๐ฐSlovak company DefTech will deliver, or has already delivered, its new Wolf armoured vehicle to Ukraine, specifically in the C-UAS Wolf 25 AD configuration, which combines anti-drone protection and direct fire support capabilities. This was also confirmed by Milan Mackovich, Head of International Business Development at DefTech a.s. The Wolf is based on 4x4 V-shaped chassis (could be heavily modified F-550) and is powered by a 6.7l engine. The turret is a Valhalla Mangart 25 with a 25x137mm dual-feed Oerlikon 25 KBA cannon and airburst ammunition, and thanks to Rheinmetall's AESA AAMR radar, it has 360ยฐ coverage. Optionally, the turret can also be equipped with MANPADS, ATGMs, or a machine gun. In the past, DefTech has already supplied its vehicles in limited numbers to Ukrainian special forces and they were deployed during the liberation of Kherson.

The DITA is a wheeled self-propelled howitzer based on the Tatra 815 8x8 chassis. It uses a 155mm gun with a barrel length of 45 calibers providing a firing range of up to 39km with HE BB shells. A total of 15 howitzers have been purchased for Ukraine by the ๐ณ๐ฑ#Netherlands, 9 in February 2024 and another 6 in October 2024.
