Details shared by Debasis Nanda I have been driving for years and have covered around 1.5 lakh kilometres combined my swift & Kushaq, but this was by far the worst accident I have experienced. Here's what happened. I was driving from Hoskote to my office in Mahadevapura, Bangalore. Just before the Hoskote toll, there is a speed breaker right after the flyover ends. I was driving at a reasonable speed and started slowing down as I approached the speed breaker. I t was raining a bit that day. I checked my rear-view mirror while braking and noticed a vehicle coming at high speed. It looked like the driver had lost control. I barely had a second to react. I thought of accelerating to avoid the impact, but there was a Tata Altroz right in front of me, so I had no room to move. Within moments, a Tata Intra crashed into the rear of my Kushaq with tremendous force, pushing my car into the Altroz ahead. Thankfully, I escaped without any injuries. This incident really proved the solid build quality of the Kushaq. I immediately stopped the driver of the Intra. He admitted that he wasn't paying attention and said that even after applying the brakes, the vehicle didn't stop in time. However, after reviewing the dashcam footage, it was clear that he had enough distance to stop if he had reacted earlier. The Hoskote traffic police arrived after noticing the traffic jam. I showed them the dashcam footage, and they escorted us to the nearby traffic police station. I asked the Tata driver to call the vehicle owner, and after some discussion, they agreed to compensate me directly instead of relying only on the insurance claim. The traffic police were extremely helpful throughout the process. My Skoda service advisor initially estimated the repair cost to be around ₹1 lakh. Based on that, I asked them to pay at least ₹30,000. They initially offered ₹20,000, and we finally settled at ₹25,000. However, after handing over the car to the Skoda body shop, the final repair estimate has gone up to around ₹1.5 lakh. On top of that, I still have to bear 10% of the repair cost as per my insurance policy. #driveresponsibly

Details shared by Owner - 1. Tyre Burst (First Month): The tyre burst at around 3:00 AM due to a suspected manufacturing defect. Mahindra denied the claim, calling it customer negligence. I had to replace the tyre at my own cost of ₹15,000. 2. Gear Knob Failure: The illuminated gear selector stopped working and the gear knob malfunctioned. 3. ESC Failure: The ESC system failed while driving in traffic, requiring RSA towing. During towing, Mahindra RSA damaged my front bumper PPF. 4. Questionable ESC Repair: I was initially told the required part would take 15 days to arrive. However, the same day I was informed the car was ready. The service advisor later admitted the part had been taken from a demo vehicle. 5. Coolant Pump Failure: The car remained at the workshop for 15 days. The service center claimed Mahindra had issued a recall/campaign for this issue, but I never received any official communication. 6. Repeated AC Failure: The AC stopped working while driving. Despite five workshop visits, the issue kept recurring within a couple of days after every repair. 7. Additional Issues During 1-Month Workshop Stay: While the vehicle was at the workshop for AC repairs, two more defects were found: Damaged seat frame/seat rack Infotainment display cracking due to sunlight 8. Display Replacement: Initially, the service center blamed my parking habits (parking in sunlight or vehicle orientation). After several days of discussions, the display was finally replaced after about 15 days. 9. Electrical Noise (Current Unresolved Issue): After taking delivery on 26 June, the car started making electrical wire-like noises on 2 July. The service center claims it is due to a ribbon behind the front bumper, but no permanent solution has been provided. I am still driving the vehicle with this unresolved issue, raising serious safety concerns. Summary: My vehicle has visited the workshop over 40 times within one year. Due to repeated failures and multiple part replacements, almost every major component has been changed. Only the seats, battery, and outer body shell remain original.

This dangerous accident was recently recorded near Tin Factory, Bengaluru, where you can clearly see how a reckless taxi driver's actions almost cost the pillion rider their life. Unfortunately, many people perform such dangerous maneuvers without understanding the consequences. Before making reckless decisions on the road, drivers must realize that a single mistake can put innocent lives at risk.

Shared by Mohammed Eshaan Around 1:30 AM in Hyderabad, near Café Niloufer in Hitech City, a group of five cars including a BMW M5 Competition, a Thar, two Fortuners, and a Land Cruiser Prado were overspeeding. The BMW M5 driver had turned off traction control and began drifting at high speed. During one such drift, he lost control of the vehicle, crashing into two parked cars and ramming into the pedestrian walking lane. After the crash, the driver fled the scene. Police arrived nearly an hour later and appeared to be in favor of the BMW driver. Fortunately, no one was injured in the incident. #driveresponsibly

Shared by Gaurav - This happened in Kharghar, Navi Mumbai. I had my wife and kids with me in the car, so I didn’t get out of the vehicle and quickly drove away to de-escalate the situation. This should be shown to everyone as an example of how to avoid road rage and prevent further damage. #driveresponsibly #roadrage

Details shared by Sachin Location - Near Gurugram HR I helped the rider get back on his feet. The couple initially insisted that the accident wasn't their fault until I mentioned that I had a dashcam. The woman told me to leave, saying it was none of my business, and even asked, "Tu hai kaun?" I then informed them that there was a police station nearby and told them I was heading there with the dashcam footage. I also asked the rider to come with me. Although he was hesitant at first, he agreed. At that point, the couple suddenly changed their stance and agreed to take the rider to the hospital and pay for the damages. #DriveResponsibly

Incident shared by Subscriber (Aditya) On March 9, 2025, my family—my younger brother, my brother-in-law, and I—went to Mathura for Radha Rani's darshan. While returning towards Gwalior, at around 9:30 PM, we stopped near NH-44, about 8 km before Saiyan Toll Plaza, to use the washroom. At that moment, a blue Baleno without a number plate approached us from the wrong side. After stopping, the occupants started asking us for our car number, the car owner's name, where we were coming from, and where we were headed. Three men got out of the car, heavily intoxicated, and started pushing my younger brother. When we resisted and pushed them back, we immediately tried to leave. However, they started chasing us and caught up to us at Saiyan Toll Plaza. While we were in the FASTag lane, they attacked our car with an iron rod, forcibly opened the driver-side door, hit the driver with the rod, and knocked him unconscious. They smashed the car badly, causing it to roll back in reverse. As the car moved backward, they attacked again before eventually breaking the Saiyan NH-44 Toll Plaza barrier and fleeing within three minutes. We have already filed an FIR at the Saiyan Police Station, and the CCTV footage of the attackers has been retrieved from the toll plaza. I live and work in Pune. I had an unfortunate incident where I was attacked by a few goons on my way home from the office. I was returning from the office in, Kharadi, Pune around 8:30 PM on Wednesday 11th December, 2024. I took a turn on Kharadi-Hadapsar bypass on Accolade society road. As the road was wet and it was not a rainy day I thought of it due to some water tankers which must have passed. But as I reached closer there was a pothole. The car was already slow as it was a narrow alley with bad roads. I further slowed down as evident from dashcam footage. I also tried to keep the wheels of the car to the left of the pothole but it was not possible due to the scooty standing ahead. And the pothole was a little deep and tires rolling over the deep pothole caused a little splash, which was not intentional. After that, these goons chased the car and stopped it a little ahead. You can hear from their language what kind of hooligans they were. I tried to stay calm and tried to explain that it was not intentional but they were not ready to listen to any reasoning. Probably their plan was to take my car to the side and extort money but I refused to take it to the side. Then one of the boys kicked at my car causing a dent and then ran away. I reported this to the police and registered a FIR and gave them the two wheeler number MH12 GP 6147 immediately, but I don't think the police will take any action. The two wheeler's insurance has expired since 2012. They refused to issue any challan also. This kind of incident is common in Pune, Kharadi area and has happened with my colleagues also. Sadly due to police inaction these guys have become more fearless. @punepolicecity महाराष्ट्र पोलीस - Maharashtra Police #pune

It’s a common — and deeply concerning — sight on Indian roads and highways: broken-down vehicles left stranded, sometimes even in the fast lane, without any prior warning or hazard indication. This reckless scenario becomes especially dangerous at night, when visibility is low and drivers have little time to react. Such negligence isn’t just limited to irresponsible drivers; it reflects a serious failure on the part of highway authorities, government agencies, and traffic police, who turn a blind eye to these life-threatening situations. Important Reminder: Always overtake only when the road ahead is fully clear. Never take chances — a split-second decision can be the difference between life and death, especially on highways. #driveresponsibly
