Back in college, a BBA friend decided to pursue bartending as a career. His parents barely managed his college and hostel fees, and everyone including seniors told him not to risk it. But he followed his gut. We all chipped in for his course fee. By year-end, he was earning ₹25K/month while we engineering grads were offered ₹12K starting salaries. A year later, in 2012, he was working in Goa, pulling in ₹1.5L/month.

Last week, we received a notice from the ESIC department. Went there today to understand what it meant. Met a senior officer who explained that we do not come under their compliance, offered tea, and patiently understood what we are building at Pneucons.
