In his the Memorial presser, Rory doubled down on his desire to make his own schedule, which equates to about 18 to 20 events between the DP World Tour, PGA TOUR & Majors. Also sounds like the FedEx Cup name might be going away - 2027 is the final year of the sponsorship deal.

Look, I’m glad the golf media seems to have embraced the AK story today, as I hoped they would. But they’ve also done their best to ignore it and/or be cynical for 2 yrs. AK even said the same post-round - it’s real. I hope this is an inflection & self-reflection point for the media & we see some real change. My opinion is irrelevant TBH. I listen to the players & people material to this, like AK. Once their feelings change, my feelings about the media will change. It’s on no one else but you, the media. (You know who you are).

I’ve found Peter Uihlein to be 1 of the most thoughtful players on LIV - doesn’t say much, but when he does worth the listen. Good interview with Garrett Johnston here. Before LIV the DP World Tour was more appealing to him. He enjoys being a global player, LIV has been a dream for him & would love to play the rest of his career on LIV. Great ambassador for global golf! 👍🏽

Bryson did an incredible segment on the range today at The Open with his coach, Dana Dahlquist. They walked through using Sportsbox3D (that I’ve also used). Def think BAD should have a 2nd YT channel only for golf nerds where he can unpack “passive torque” & other complexities!

IMO LIV/PIF could have destroyed the PGA TOUR (via litigation, governmental intervention) but that was never the intent.
