I can’t picture any other actress taking on the role of Nikki in Obsession other than Inde Navarette. I don’t think even Jennifer Lawrence could have done the entity switching to Nikki and back to the entity as well as Inde did. Like, there are good actresses; and then there are actresses who understand the assignment. I don’t see any current Oscar-winning actresses being able to pull off this character at all.

I’m gonna say it. Bedtime Stories is Madonna’s best album. People were so butthurt over her Sex book and the Erotica era that they tried to punish her for it, which is the only reason this album peaked at number 3 in America. But musically? She won. From the hypnotic energy of "Sanctuary" to the effortless middle finger of "Human Nature", it is her most cohesive, textured, and underrated body of work. A 90s masterpiece.
