Kenny Brooks’ wife, Chrissy, battled and overcame cancer a couple of years ago. That led to a fan, Monica, emailing Kenny about how he and Chrissy have inspired her in her fight against cancer. Brooks talked about how Monica ended up inspiring him after the Ole Miss game.

Kenny Brooks put some closure on the Cassidy Rowe situation from earlier in the spring after not putting out an official statement of any sort at the time, while also hitting on Clara Silva, Tanah Becker and Saniah Tyler, who are all also no longer with Kentucky. "I can honestly say I thank each and every one of them for their contributions. If any one of them who are not here called me tomorrow and said, 'Hey, can you do this for me,' I wouldn't hesitate. It's just this is life, and my responsibility is to make sure that Kentucky women's basketball is positioning themselves to be as good as they can possibly be, and that's what we did."
