Khan reports how the CCTV footage was deleted in and around Jinnah Avenue, one of the most surveilled areas of Pakistan. “The contractor, Shahid Mehmood from Interactive Group of Companies, who operates the CCTV for the Metro Bus Service, was summoned to an ISI office on the same night. Analyzing footage from D-Square in Islamabad in which individuals can be seen on top of a building, from where civilians said bullets were being fired to target civilians, Wajahat Khan says, from his experience, “these are army personnel. 100% they are army men. Two spotters, and two snipers. They are using a range finder.
