EXCLUSIVE: The City of Tshwane is investigating this matter. The Defenders of the People organization has distanced itself from the clip, saying it doesn't know the person speaking in the clip and they will try authenticate the clip. The person in the clip is believed to be Rufus Mphahlele; a councillor and a Section 79 Chairperson in the City of Tshwane. A source inside DOP says the clip is from an "internal meeting and that the president was just trying to motivate leaders that they must pull up their socks." DEVELOPING: Abiel Wessie from IPHC Zuurbekom says they were called by former Minister Bheki Cele after their church (Zuurbekom) came under attack by some members from the IPHC Jerusalem branch on the 11th of July 2020. Wessie alleges they met Cele on the 12th of July 2020. Wessie adds that Cele promised to have their matter investigated but nothing happened. The IPHC Zuurbekom leaders later went to former Hawks Head Godfrey Lebeya for help. Wessie says they willing to appear before the #MadlangaCommission to expose the rot within SAPS. eNCA

The N4 corridor going to Lebombo border then into Mozambique, is a disaster! Something needs to be done about this road. You can’t be stuck in traffic for 3hours, that’s insane. There’s no toilets, it’s extremely hot and cars breakdown. The road infrastructure needs to be improved urgently.
