A PACK OF ARMOURED ROBOTS IS RUNNING THROUGH MUD, AND THIS IS NOW CALLED RECON Read the label at the top of the screen. Recon unit mobility test. Group run. The people in dark jackets on the edge of the field are not part of the unit. They are just watching it. Recon has always meant a small team, usually 4 to 6 people, moving ahead of everyone else with as little weight as possible. They survive by not being seen. Once a recon team is spotted, it is usually finished, because it carries nothing heavy enough to fight its way out. These machines break both of those rules. They are armoured like vehicles, and they move in a pack. Staying hidden is no longer the job. Getting seen, drawing fire and showing exactly where it came from is part of the job now. Look at the ground they are running on. Mud and standing water, the exact surface where wheels sink and lose grip. Legs push through it. And a pack changes the loss math. Hit 1 and the others keep running and keep sending the picture back. A human team that loses 1 man stops to deal with it. Recon used to survive by hiding. This one survives by numbers
