Lamine Camara • Tactical Report ➡️Insanely press resistant - less errors than Baleba ➡️Strong ball winning profile: interceptions, slides, recoveries + 🥪 but can fall asleep when tracking ➡️Passing disguise 🔝 due to a mix of core strength and balance allowing him to pluck it out under his feet with limited backlift during trivelas and toe pokes ➡️Feeble aerially but has the 👃 to pick up 2nd balls ➡️Switch to the right side of pitch 👌 Full Video: #CFC #LFC #Liverpool #Chelsea

I’ve got enormous respect for Rio Ferdinand, the footballer. But his response to Saeed TV was out of order. Rio has said punditry should “never, ever be personal”. When a fan challenges him, that standard should apply to him too. Criticise the argument, not the person. My thoughts 👇

Halfway through The Overlap with Sylvester Stallone and I think it’s hands down podcast of the year. Must watch for all Rocky fans, and the man himself - fair play to Gary Neville Jamie Carragher Ian Wright ⭐Jill Scott⭐ for asking such engaging questions.

WHY Lamine Camara Could Be The Perfect Partner For Moisés Caicedo... Chelsea already have one of the most press-resistant midfields in the Premier League. But the problem is that too much of their midfield security often depends on Moisés Caicedo doing everything. That’s where Lamine Camara becomes interesting. The Senegalese midfielder is excellent at receiving under pressure, escaping tight areas with quick feet and keeping possession moving through simple, intelligent passes. He isn’t a regista or a Hollywood passer, but he gives Chelsea something arguably more important: control under pressure. In a 3-4-2-1, a double pivot of Caicedo and Camara could give Xabi Alonso two midfielders capable of rotating responsibilities. One can jump into the press. The other can cover the space behind. That could make Chelsea more flexible, more secure and far less reliant on one midfielder to protect the entire structure. There are still concerns. Camara is not dominant aerially, can be outmuscled physically and still needs to improve his final-third output. If teams bypass Chelsea’s press directly, the centre-backs may need to step out aggressively to contest those duels. But at a reported £51m, the Telstar Transfer Index suggests this could be excellent market value, especially when compared to Moisés Caicedo’s inflation-adjusted fee. Chelsea fans, could Camara be the perfect partner for Caicedo? 👀🔵 📹Samson Kalnińş Brough

Wirtz Has A INTELLIGENCE PROBLEM And a technical one in my issue. The pace of the premier league means he can’t retain his efficiency in terms of decision making and touch when having to execute at high speed. People talk about athleticism but he’s not getting barged off the ball or unable to cover ground - that isn’t the issue for me. It’s the lack of pausa which is killing him. #liverpoolfc #lfc

WHY Bruno Guimarães Could Finally Unlock Arsenal’s Right-Hand Side… Arsenal have spent years relying on Bukayo Saka to provide almost everything on the right. Martin Ødegaard often drops deeper to help progress the ball, while Saka is left carrying the creative burden in the final third. Bruno Guimarães could completely change that dynamic. At Newcastle, Bruno has shown he can contribute across every phase. He can receive under pressure, move possession forward and compete aggressively in ground duels, but his biggest value now comes closer to goal. His movement into dangerous areas, ability to thread passes through defensive lines and willingness to get forward could give Arsenal the right-sided number eight they have been missing. The role could mirror what Granit Xhaka offered from the left during the 2022/23 season. Bruno would provide additional support for Saka, occupy defenders and potentially create more space for Arsenal’s most dangerous attacker. There are still questions. Can Arsenal protect him aerially? And would his lack of explosive athleticism become a problem when defending large spaces? With Declan Rice or Martín Zubimendi behind him, those weaknesses could be managed. Arsenal fans, could Bruno Guimarães be the midfielder who finally frees Bukayo Saka? 👀🔴⚪ 📹Samson Kalnińş Brough

Szoboszlai In Cm… No MORE! Well as a double pivot, outperformed by Mac Allister and the subs. Looked far more effective once he moved into a wider region of the pitch. His ego won’t accept RB long term so is this a problem brewing? #liverpoolfc #lfc

Did The Butcher Get It WRONG About Man United? Is lack of recruitment really Manchester United’s biggest problem? 👀 Lisandro Martínez has a point about the directors but I think the real issue goes much deeper. No clear footballing identity, no long-term blueprint, and a rebuild that risks becoming another cycle of firefighting. INEOS need to answer one question: What do they actually want Manchester United to look like in five years? Agree or disagree? 👇 #mufc

4 KEY tactical battles... that decide Arsenal vs Chelsea ➡️ Can Rogers X Hato exploit Arsenal's Right Flank? ➡️ Can JPMorgan help their CB's versus the 4-4-2 press? ➡️ Will Alonso's WB's Sit and his CB's jump during press? ➡️ The Bruno G factor... I broke the entire game down here. 👇

People laugh at Pele’s 1000 goals but he knew when to leave at the top and not hold his nation hostage… wins his third World Cup and walked away at 29. Ronaldo missed the bigger picture, be an elder statesman, be a bit part player and save your legs for the big moments off the bench… I can’t believe he’s so short sighted.
