#CaughtTheirEyes: Despite false reports that Nicki Minaj was dropped by her legal representation The Source Magazine has come to clarify the facts of Nicki Minaj's defamation suit. Nicki Minaj is now represented by the North Star Group (Founded by Londell McMillan). The North Star group notoriously was over Prince's estate as they battled Jay-Z/ Roc Nation/ Tidal and accused them of illegally streaming his music on the platform after Prince's death. Prince from the beginning of his career to the time of his death maintained he did not want the industry to control his music. Yet Jay-z claims Prince gave him exclusive rights to stream his music on tidal when in fact it was just 1 album. Londell has represented artists such as Kanye West, Michael Jackson, Prince and many more. His company still manages Prince's estate. This all unfortunate given Londell grew up around Jay-Z and has known him 30 plus years. Lots of people have alleged that Jay-Z's masters set Prince up to take his masters but again that's alleged.

Prince VS Jay-Z: A Literal Fight for His Life (not my video and everything is alleged) Why would Prince fight his whole career to own his masters, to give the away to Jay-Z ? And all we have is Jay-Z and Will Smith a word right before one the healthiest men alive died from drugs ? The FBI is currently investigating ROC Nation and that is information I obtained independently. #AndThenWillSmithWillAppear ROC Nation allegedly tried to illegally obtain management of Prince's estate. Jay-Z (despite not being able to provide any legal proof) says we should take his word for what Prince wished before he died and not Londell McMillan (who famously freed Prince from his slave contract with Warner). And of course Will Smith has to pop up to fan the flames on the narrative spun by Jay-Z. Will appearing like the Grim reaper (apparently) saw Biggie hours before he died and claims 8 hours before Prince died his last words to him were about going into business with Jay-Z. All odd coincidences FOR NOW but we will unpack more tomorrow morning 🤞🏾
