Instead of boarding from the main station, 4–5 carriages are reportedly moved overnight to Quetta Cantonment, where army personnel on leave board in the morning. In Pakistan, the law is apparently only for ordinary citizens. For the elite and politically connected, firing automatic weapons in public… in front of police and official vehicles, is treated like a VIP hobby, not a criminal offence. Imagine the response if an ordinary citizen had done this. The entire state machinery would’ve descended within minutes.
