Muhammad Mahmood keeps getting something most ordinary Pakistanis can only dream of: another powerful government post. Rawalpindi Ring Road scandal → arrested. Wheat import crisis → suspended. ₨76bn LDI telecom controversy → stripped of charge & made OSD. And now? Secretary Health… while also holding Housing & Works. In Pakistan, apparently corruption allegations don’t end careers… they just qualify you for the next promotion. The real question isn’t “How does he keep getting appointed?” It is: “WHO keeps saving him?” Because when accountability repeatedly knocks at your door, but power repeatedly opens another government office for you… people naturally start asking which General is standing behind the curtain. Pakistan: where a clean record gets you nowhere, but a powerful patron can get you everywhere. 🇵🇰

🚨 Evidence from the ground in #Surab, #Balochistan Local residents have collected fragments they say are from the bombs/shells that struck civilian areas in Surab. The recovered metal casing visibly carries markings including a serial number and “DATE OF MFR” (date of manufacture)… details that can potentially help identify the munition. Yet the authorities continue to deny an aerial attack and claim it was merely a vehicle explosion. If it was a vehicle explosion, then where did these marked bomb/shell fragments come from? The evidence deserves an independent investigation, not another denial. #Surab #Balochistan

Pakistan’s power corridor just turned into a full-blown family reunion 😂 PM Shehbaz Sharif arrives in Islamabad → warmly greeted by Deputy PM Ishaq Dar (his brother-in-law). Then rolls in ex-PM & MNA Nawaz Sharif (the big brother), welcomed by his little brother, the current PM. Joined by CM Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif —> daughter of the ex-PM, niece of the current PM, and sister-in-law of the Deputy PM. A friend tells me the #PakistanArmy quietly changed its Quetta train movement protocol after the #JaffarExpress attack. Instead of boarding from the main station, 4–5 carriages are reportedly moved overnight to Quetta Cantonment, where army personnel on leave board in the morning. The carriages are then attached to the main train at Quetta Railway Station before departure. According to this account, attackers studied the pattern and planned the strike near “Chaman Phatak” before the train even reached the station. Seems the “intelligence agencies” were too busy making TikToks, managing social media trends, and running propaganda campaigns to notice their own movement plans had already leaked. #QuettaTrainAttack #Balochistan

Heartbreaking 💔 A father pleads with #FC_Balochistan soldiers to let an ambulance carrying his child through. He cries, begs, and asks for mercy. According to what he says in the video, the soldier tells him the road cannot be opened without orders from the commanding officer. In Pakistan, the law is apparently only for ordinary citizens. For the elite and politically connected, firing automatic weapons in public… in front of police and official vehicles, is treated like a VIP hobby, not a criminal offence. Imagine the response if an ordinary citizen had done this. The entire state machinery would’ve descended within minutes. Here comes another Captain #AbidAgha with his #TikTok style video proudly showing how he’s “capturing” a Civil Service post. Meanwhile, ordinary civilians spend years preparing for one of the toughest exams in the country, fighting through a 1200-mark CSS written exam, psychological assessments, and interviews… only to compete for a shrinking number of seats. But for serving military officers? No written CSS exam. A special 10% quota, internal nomination from #GHQ, then straight to psychological assessment and viva.
