𝘿𝙤𝙣'𝙩 𝙗𝙪𝙮 𝙗𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙠𝙤𝙪𝙩𝙨 𝙞𝙣 𝙘𝙤𝙧𝙧𝙚𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙫𝙚 𝙢𝙖𝙧𝙠𝙚𝙩𝙨. So I'm down 120k on my longs. I should have just not bought any breakouts. Don't buy breakouts in corrective markets. Just remember that mantra. I just get so tempted sometimes. I get so tempted, man. I really get tempted. No bueno.

𝗤: 𝗼𝗻𝗹𝘆 𝗯𝘂𝘆 𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗰𝗸𝘀 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝗺𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗲𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘂𝗽, 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗺𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗲𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝘄𝗲𝗮𝗸 𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗹 𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗸𝗲𝗲𝗽 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗴𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗼𝗻𝗹𝘆. Yeah, I'm just trying to follow price action. When the market is going higher I try to buy strong stocks and when the market goes lower I keep the strongest ones and I sell the weakest ones. I keep the flowers and I pull out the weeds. It's all I'm trying to do.

𝗤 𝘀𝗵𝗼𝘄𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮 𝗳𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗿 𝘀𝗲𝘁𝘂𝗽 ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ So everyone except one person was asleep. At what time, well about the same time it broke out intraday. It’s the most textbook breakout I’ve seen in a while. The right sector, big volume, and just a perfect flag pattern intraday. I got stopped out the first time around, I took a $13,000 loss on it on this weird red candle. So I had a 5.20 average. I had about half size and then it just shook me out and I got stopped out low 5s. And then I started building back, 5.20 and 5.32, I think, were my entries. My only regret is I didn’t buy 200,000 shares instead of 100,000 shares and then it went just straight up. It is the most textbook flag ever. Higher lows intraday at the range. It’s a hot sector, the hottest sector we’ve seen in probably year plus. Record volume, ultra liquid. Memorize this, memorize. Trades like that, they don’t grow on trees. Except for the past two weeks they’ve literally been growing on trees, but generally you don’t get them too often. I have to say, I’m a little bit disappointed. Guys, how are you not monitoring these coronavirus stocks? It’s the hottest sector. Only one person saw it. And that person didn't even buy it. Okay guys, I'm going to teach you something. If you have a hot sector like this, you have to monitor, you have to create a watchlist and monitor all of the stocks. Just scroll through them during the day. This is unacceptable guys. I’m a little bit disappointed. I’m super disappointed. Just scroll; I have 40 coronavirus stocks in my watchlist and I just scroll through them, the most liquid ones. I sort them by dollar volume. Most of them are too illiquid for me to trade. But every day, pre-market and during the day, I just scroll through this list. INO is obviously the most liquid one today, GILD—this is a slow moving one, it's not a pump stock. MRNA, APT, CODX, AIM, NVAX. All of these. Just scroll through them, look for setups. Look for news. OMI, they had earnings—oh, good thing I sold it yesterday. Whew! What a piece of shit. ARCT, another one that is getting pumped today. Guys, you have to do these things. You really have to. There's really no excuse. And if you think there's too many, just focus on the most liquid ones. Markets like these are when you can make your whole year in a few weeks. Like a whole year happens in a few weeks. That’s the market environment we are in right now. And you just have to do this over and over and over again.

𝗤 𝘀𝗵𝗼𝘄𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗯𝗮𝘀𝗶𝗰 𝗺𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘂𝗺 𝗽𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝘀. It's just these simple patterns. I talk about it all the time. These channels, like you have a big momentum stock, goes up a lot, builds a channel. You have a big momentum stock, it builds a channel this way. You have a big momentum stock, it maybe does something like this with higher lows. You have a big momentum stock, it maybe goes up a lot and then maybe does something like this. These triangles and channels. High-tight flags. It's the same patterns over and over again. It doesn't matter if you learn them from Minervini, Dan Zanger, it's the same things, or Stockbee, right? It's the same things over and over. It's just so easy. You just need to train your brain to see these patterns on the strongest stocks. That's the key. The strongest stocks, not some random piece of shit. People keep posting these random stocks that have these bull flags, but you need the strongest stocks. You don't have an edge trading some random shit stock that happens to have a good chart pattern. I get these every day, people are posting and asking me about them. It has to be a momentum leader. Just the same patterns over... just look at the stocks I'm in, right? NVDA, I bought it last week, okay? Very simple. A big momentum stock, look at the pattern. What is it? Do you see this? Do you see this pattern? I bought it here. NIO, I bought it a couple of days ago. What's the pattern, right? Do you see it? I bought it on this day here, like somewhere here, right? LVGO, what's the pattern? Okay, I bought it here, so it was a little bit of a chase. FSLY, I bought it here. What's the pattern? You see this? DDOG, where did I buy it? I bought it here. This wasn't a clean one, but it was showing relative strength. But again, same patterns. You see higher lows and Z, I bought it here. I also bought it here initially. The same patterns over and over again. There's absolutely no rocket science involved. Anyone who's trying to sell you rocket science, just unfollow them and run the other way. They're all frauds. They don't make any money. Same thing, these simple patterns: triangles, channels, high-tight flags. We bought TSLA here, right? Same thing. I bought TSLA here, right? Same thing. I also bought TSLA down here. Same thing. This is just the same patterns over and over again. All you have to do to succeed in the stock market is don't be a fucking retard. Really. I mean, really. That's all you have to do. You don't need any intelligence to make tens of millions. All you need to know is risk management, portfolio management, and these patterns. And then you need to have sit-out power when the market is bad. That's all you need. You literally need five things. And yes, CRWD... where did I buy it? On this day here. You see the pattern. LAC, I bought it here. You see the pattern. I bought it here, or was it here? I don't remember. One of... the same thing over and over again. Exactly, the big... yeah, exactly. All the... Zanger, Jesse Livermore, Darvas, Ruppel, O'Neil... exactly, it's the same thing. They're all momentum traders. They trade these momentum stocks, relative strength stocks, the stocks that funds are dying to get in, okay? You want the stocks that the funds want to buy, okay? The funds leave footprints, the big institutions, they leave footprints. Your job is to sniff out the stocks the funds are buying. You don't want some piece-of-shit random stock. You're never going to make money over time. You want buyers coming in after you.

𝗤 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗶𝗻𝘀 𝗵𝗼𝘄 𝘁𝗼 𝗽𝘆𝗿𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗱 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗼 𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀. My position size? Well, generally, I don't like—if I'm gonna long intraday, I can be heavy, I can have 50 to 100% of my account in a stock. I rarely do. The only thing it happened lately, past few years, is TSLA when I was shorting TSLA, and I've been also 100% short TVIX intraday. But I always have stops in place, automatic stops. But overnight, my rules are generally, I use 10 to 20% of my account. I rarely do more than 20% of my account in any given stock or ETF. And that's what I did on TVIX. I had about 20% of it short, or maybe 25, over the weekend. Oh yeah, and of course it gapped up 50%, so that really— Yeah, I pyramid all the time. I always pyramid into winners. That's how you build size in something. You don't go 100% short TVIX or TSLA out of the blue. No, you start in and then as it starts working and you lower your stop, you add more. And as it starts working and you lower your stops more, you add more. That's how you do it. I always pyramid. When I do size, I always pyramid. I never do it out of the blue.

𝗤 𝘀𝗮𝘆𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮 𝗹𝗮𝗿𝗴𝗲 𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 (𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗠𝗼𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗔𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗴𝗲𝘀) 𝗶𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗱𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗼 𝗱𝗼. 𝗕𝘂𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗱𝗼 𝗶𝘁. It’s scary. It’s one thing taking a big loss, but it’s another thing holding a big profit, and especially if it’s a profit that’s bigger than you’ve seen before. That’s one of the most stressful things ever. It’s just so scary, but you really need to believe it can go further in your direction. That’s really what happened on TSLA. I was up 650k, I thought it was gonna go down another 50, 100 bucks, and then it just reversed back higher and I gave back most of that profit. But then I re-nailed it, and that was a big one. You really gotta believe it will do what you think it will do.

Q showing a 7 star setup on a 5 star scale. "this is like a big big move, goes sideways. builds a tight range, and look at how tight it gets look at this thing, it breaks out and boom. this is like a seven star setup on a five star scale. memorize this this is the basic principle we're trying to like stocks move like stairs. right, you get a leg higher, sideways, leg higher, sideways you get another step higher, sideways, step higher sideways, so we are trying to identify the areas when the next step higher could be formed. you know tight areas we're looking for tight areas so we can get a tight stop so we can get a good risk reward. This is how stocks move. like this one is kind of a perfect one most are not perfect but this is the basic principle this is how stocks have moved in 100 years and there is no reason they should stop moving like this just because you're getting started in trading..."

Q shows how he would start over again. "if I would start out again you mean like if I blow up and I have to have to start over with a small account, yeah I would probably scan for very high ADR stocks like six seven percent plus and most of them are small caps, so I would naturally.... like I I don't care about small caps in particular I just want to be in the fast moving stocks I don't care if it's a small cap or a large cap you want to be in the fastest moving stocks"

Q showing why you can't outsmart the 10MA. I just want to show you this one this is also the reason why you should use the 10-day moving average we bought this thing on stream this is a five-star setup memorize this, hot sector covid19 stock like a vaccine name right perfect five star setup has a big move pulls back finds support on the rising 20 day puts in like a tight range and then breaks out on high volume we bought it unfortunately I sold it way too early I sold it in the like high 70s or something I didn't wait for it first close below the 10 day because you know I was up what 70 percent in just a week or two. Sometimes holding a big winner is the hardest thing to do and look at this thing after I sold it the stock doubled the stock doubled I had a hard time holding a 60-70% winner and after I sold it it doubled that's why you use the 10MA, and you would still be in it because it hasn't closed below the 10 day yet this is what happens sometimes like I have way too many things on my charts I'm thinking about removing stuff I actually removed one moving average like the 65 ema on the daily chart I removed it because you know sometimes you look at too many things you kind of lose focus you cannot lose focus on the important stuff and in this case it was the first close below the 10-day which still hasn't happened and you don't need to do any predictions like oh I have a target for it, all you need to focus on: -You sell half or a third or two thirds or whatever whatever you feel like but I would say around half after the first three to five days -Move your stop to break even -Then you just trail on the 10-day moving average you don't need any predictions it doesn't matter what the Fed says, it doesn't matter what China does, it doesn't work no matter what trump says or does, you don't need to care about any of those things only thing you need to care about is the 10-day moving average that's it no rocket science involved.

Q explains once you worked hard and know what to look for, its all about waiting and not over trading. "How long did it take your journey, for instance? How did you do it? What process did you suggest for people down this road? Well, when I had a 40k account, I was day trading. I started doing more overnights when I had like a couple of hundred thousand or like 100,000, and then I started doing more swing trading, like three to five days, when I had a few hundred thousand. Now that I have in the millions, I don't even bother with these shorter-term trades. I'm just looking for big opportunities because I don't really have to make money. I don't care if I don't make money for the rest of the year. I'm just waiting for the next big opportunity, like when the market goes up a lot and I can make a million, two million in a short amount of time. The rest of the time, I don't sit there and day trade for a few thousand here, a few thousand there. I'm just getting too old for it. I don't want to spend the rest of my days like that. I want to trade the rest of my life, but I don't want to day trade. I don't want to sit there and look at charts seven, eight hours per day. I've done that. It's really exhausting. So I'm just sitting around and doing other things. Meanwhile, I look for big opportunities. The last big opportunity was late last year, early this year. I made well over a million in a very short time, in a few months. And I really didn't have to do much. I bought a few stocks and now I just waited. And that's how I like to trade. I don't want to work too hard for it because you don't have to. If you wait for your setups, you don't have to work that hard, but you have to work hard to get to the point where you know where the good setups are, if you understand what I mean. Patience is the hardest part because you feel like you have to do something. Every day I'm fighting the urge to trade. I'm a chronic over-trader. I probably always will be, and that's fine as long as I realize it and don't go crazy with it."

Q showing how to buy stock that setup (opening range highs + ATR). How do I enter on this setup? usually you buy it opening range highs like when it takes out the first one minute or five minute candle but you really don't even need to look at the uh intraday chart you really don't you just have to pay attention where when are they breaking the ranges that's just visually on the daily chart like $NVAX you know if it starts breaking that 150 area you would see it on the daily chart 150 151 and then you have to pay attention to average true range okay is the stock like sometimes they gap up a little bit but you have to look, okay if I buy let's say the stock gets to like what is at 153 okay let's say and it closed at 147 today and tomorrow it uh is at 153 intraday then you just look at okay it's up six bucks intraday it's up six dollars but the average true range is 13.6 so it's up less than half of its average true range that means you can buy it as long as the good setup is good and then you have a stop at low of the day and then after three to five days you sell half move your stop to break even and just keep trail on the 10-day moving average

Q saying his dream is to get into the Market Wizards Book. (congratulations to him for achieving it) "[reads chat] If you get into the The Wall Street Journal Wall St Journal jack schwager will notice you." "Holy sh*t if I can get into the Market Wizards book that's like a dream of mine. I love those books, oh man if I can get into the next - I mean the next one is coming like in a few months, but in the one after that -that one is probably gonna come in the next 10 years if I can get get into the next one that would be awesome." Q showing a perfect 5 star setup and trade. $NVAX had a perfect setup right here and if you would have followed the sell rules you would have sold a third to half of your shares on one of these days here and you would still be in the stock okay you would be up 260% on the rest of your position the other half for two thirds because it hasn't closed below the 10 day since. And this is why I advocate trailing some of your shares on on the 10 day because sometimes you can catch something like this and these things are really gonna add to the bottom line in your accounts you know you catch a few of these now and then oh man these are the ones that are gonna grow your accounts exponentially.
