Today marks 5 years since Semina Mary Halliwell died after reporting she had been groomed, raped and beaten. During these five years, I have fought for justice and accountability for my baby, I wanted answers, If anyone had approached me and if acknowledgements had been made that they made mistakes that led Semina to make her decision, I would have been able to forgive them even though it was the worst time of my life. I want to especially thank Laurence Fox for sticking his head above the parapet to make a documentary that showed the world Semina’s story through the eyes of all who loved her and the injustice that no one else wanted to talk about. I would like to thank all the wonderful people who have given Semina a voice, stood by her stood by me, supported me, fought with me and continue to fight alongside me for accountability and justice. The love I have received has carried me through seriously dark times. There is a new movement called we are the shield which is causing myself and many others grave concern. I have been on a live space on X with Chris Hargreaves also watched a podcast with Liam Tuffs involving the leader of the movement. Last night this man posted a live feed showing details on his phone of what is believed to be victims, their messages and personal numbers for all to see. Several videos have emerged, one about only fans but one disturbingly about a woman’s dark dreams where he addressed these issues encouraging her to embrace her fears and experiences and even worse enjoy it . What message is this person trying to portray. Any victim of sexual abuse most certainly would not want to embrace it . He is in my opinion undermining the trust that is needed for vulnerable women and girls to have the strength to come forward. The dedication of Maggie Oliver , Sammy Woodhouse, Rupert Lowe and The Semina Halliwell foundation cannot be overshadowed by a person whose intentions at this time remains unclear and unprofessional and it worries me. What are your views on this person?
