If Daylight Robbery had a name, it has to be TASMAC. A 50000Cr INR revenue yielding vertical that treats consumers like dogs, forces some substandard brand on to them, collects extra money over and above MRP, doesn't account for most of the inventories that come in and the supply is always from corrupt DMK and ADMK members. TVK Minister Vignesh is probably the first of all the ministers we have seen so far who is genuinely taking an attempt to crackdown this crisis and gives a transparent press meet on each and every issues involved. But this 23 year old corrupt system is not going to yield that easily. The non-stop Live Transmission of Assembly proceedings is the biggest weapon that Vijay pulled to upset DMK and it was out of syllabus for them. Both DMK and ADMK would have thought that it was just another promise like they usually do and no one will have the guts to do it. To their surprise it is being done everyday and to their pain, it went a record 10 hours non-stop on 27 August. Not just Congress party, almost every other alliance party of TVK were of the hope that TVK will completely rely on their support and they can play around in their own way with him just as an 'acting CM'. But the moment they realized Vijay might not need their support soon, with other party MLAs resigning and joining him and the by-election might only favour TVK more, it was a big jolt for them. Vijay's growing popularity is only adding up to their concern. With Congress the shock is even more as the projected threat is not just in TN but also at a National level. Perfectly summarised. All this internal survey and changes that DMK is attempting is not going to fetch any results because none of those have addressed their core problems. Fact is there is no space for youngsters or members who have climbed up the hard way. Every district and constituency is under the control of a senior either through their family or network. It is always them who will be given the opportunities. The fake ideology that they built over decades doesn't hold good anymore as everything past information is accessible to public and they know how big a contradiction DMK members are. All this theory of Vijay making a wrong move in arresting Udhayanidhi is humbug. He did what he had to and this was necessary to send a serious message to the miscreants in DMK ecosystem and the alliance parties. No one dared to touch the Golmalpuram family for decades and they thought they could get away with any nonsense. Vijay had to rattle this family once so that others get settled in the shockwave. As long as it is the students who are protesting and their protest is against the irregularities and mishaps in the NEET exams, the protests are totally valid. But the moment fringe elements creep in with ulterior motives, neither the state nor the centre should remain silent, It needs to be curbed. The recent developments have only shown that apart from the campaigns against NEET, its is slowly turning into side campaigns against Article 370 abrogation, slogans chanting de*th of the Prime Minister and staging a Nepal types rebellion. It is obvious that someone else trying to hide behind the student campaigns and achieve their objective. People like Arivu who kept quite during the DMK Govt are now suddenly jumping in to protest at a place that is not allowed for protests. The TVK Govt was polite enough to even have a discussion with him when he actually went against the law.
