Savukku in today's episode had mentioned that a person named Edwin is very close to CM Vijay and he is an implant by DMK. He had also mentioned his actual name is Sivamanikandan. Following that there are multiple posts on X that show profiles from other platforms where he is still named as Sivamanikandan. Savukku also had mentioned that the polls being done by Edwin till date are executed by DMK's PENN. If that is the case, how was he able to give the most accurate prediction for May 2026 results is the question. When all mainstream media failed with their predictions and exit polls by a big margin, his predictions came really close. For the last 2 days almost the entire media and opposition political parties plus a few alliance parties of TVK have all aligned in constructing a narrative favouring the NTK members who got arrested. "பெண் என்றும் பாராமல் அதிகாலையில் கைது செய்து விட்டனர்", "அவருக்கு உடை மாற்ற அனுமதி தரவில்லை", "ஜனநாயக உரிமை பறிக்கப்பட்டது", "அவர்களுக்கும் அதே நாளில் பிரச்சாரம் செய்ய உரிமை இல்லையா?" are the most common statements. 👉Firstly, NTK going beyond the barricades and creating ruckus in the route of CMs convoy is a crime. This is inspite of the police giving permission to all the political parties on different dates and routes so that they don't clash with each other. 👉Next, the NTK members abused the cops both verbally and physically in that route and at the police station later. A few NTK members were also seen using unparliamentary words against the cops on stage. 👉Also in all these episodes the NTK members' only objective was seeking attention and creating unnecessary drama even when the cops are patient enough. The icing was they did the same drama in front of the magistrate also. 👉This is the reason the court has granted the cops the orders for custody instead of bail the next day. The police department will obviously take all these violations seriously and take action to curb this attitude towards them. Just because the political parties and media are still not able to digest the fact that Vijay had won both the May and October elections, they have taken this issue to blow up. One of the sensible arguments on why Vijay had to visit for bypoll campaigns 👏 Every party has its strength and weaknesses. TVK's strength is Vijay and Vijay's popularity. Their weakness is the on-ground experience with elections and the infrastructure needed. Vijay fell short of those 10 seats to meet the majority mark because he was not able to visit many constituencies due to many restrictions. In the last 25+ years of TN politics, it was always DMK that will set a narrative using their media support and the rest of the parties will just follow up by reacting/opposing/supporting it. If BJP were to really tamper the voters list in TN, 2026 was actually their best bet to do it. 1) DMK was unpopular with women safety, drug trafficking and law & order issues. 2) The only other alliance that could challenge DMK with the size of parties was NDA alliance led by ADMK. 3) TVK was literally ridiculed by every media with their surveys and polls. No one would have questioned if TVK would have actually won 10-20 seats only. A result against DMK and pro NDA would have seemed much more convincing for the media and eventually for the public.
