Honestly, I wasn't very convinced why PM discourages touching feet, because as such nothing wrong in that gesture, but here he makes it clear; he doesn't like this because of being in politics, makes it clear that in field of arts or so, it's fine

She also avoids naming Hindus as specific target of this hate politics, and makes it more about Sikhs. While Akalis are not at all doodh ka dhoola and they are largely to blame even for the current wave of rise in Khalistani sentiments (starting with their u-turn on Farm Laws), Indira erred by making it was more about electoral politics than deeper societal problem. By not talking about Hindus, perhaps thinking that it will be a ‘communal’ thing to do, she ended up erasing some stories and diluting historical narrative. Politicians of today, especially of the mainstream national parties, must avoid both these mistakes. Though in all likelihood, both will be repeated.
