Why did it take one young man with a camera to uncover what government inspectors failed to discover for decades? It’s simple. Washington pays 90% of Medicaid expansion costs. To the states, it's basically free money, so they have zero incentive to check who's actually eligible for these benefits. Make it a 50-50 split between the federal government and the states, and you'll see states taking an interest in fraud real fast.

If the bill were solely about making the 2017 tax cuts permanent, I wouldn't be a yes; I'd be a hell yes. Unfortunately, that's not the reality with this bill. It includes the largest increase of the debt ceiling ever and will have the United States borrowing $5T over the next 2 years. This bill is the opposite of conservative, and we should not pass it.

That was the only way to cheat because in-person voting is hard to rig. Now we mail ballots to everyone unsolicited, nobody watches them get signed, and we make it legal to collect 10,000 at once. We built the vulnerability ourselves. The SAVE America Act is the right fight at the federal level, but I refuse to give up at the state level either.
