Now these kids need to be stopped! I understand it was a graduation ceremony, and they deserved to celebrate. But because of the attention they’re getting from pedophiles, they’ve turned this transition video into content they keep recreating just for more views and attention. Sooner or later, this will only groom them into creating attention-seeking and sexualized content. I mean, there are so many other ways to use the internet than showing people how quickly you’re growing up or seeking to be sexualized. I can’t bear to see any of my younger sisters or even my own daughter, being involved in something like this.

Now, y’all see what I’m talking about? Here’s another newly graduated secondary school student posting a transition video with a revealing outfit that prominently shows her cleavage. Whether intentional or not, content like this often attracts the wrong kind of audience. The unfortunate reality is that there are countless pedophiles and sexual predators online who actively look for videos like these,. Every like, comment, and share from such people only reinforces the cycle and encourages more teenagers to chase that same attention. Is this really the direction we’re heading? these are the same young people who are expected to become tomorrow’s doctors, engineers, lawyers, chartered accountants, scientists, and leaders. We need to ask ourselves some difficult questions. Is the internet doing more harm than good to our younger generation, or are we failing to teach them how to use it responsibly? Have we become so obsessed with viral moments that we’ve forgotten the importance of digital safety, self-worth, and purpose? Parents, schools, and society all have a role to play… We should be teaching young people that the internet is a powerful tool for learning, building skills, creating opportunities, and expressing creativity; not a place where validation is measured by the amount of sexualized attention they can attract. The conversation shouldn’t be about shaming teenagers. It should be about protecting them from predators, helping them understand digital footprints, and encouraging healthier ways to seek recognition online.

Now, do you all see why this conversation matters? Another secondary school student is trending over a dance video that appears more focused on attracting attention than celebrating graduation, what does she mean by “LMETP”? This isn’t about judging or humiliating a child. It’s about asking why so many teenagers now believe that online attention is the fastest route to validation. Why are children competing for attention instead of competing for knowledge and skills? When did “going viral” become more valuable than protecting your future? Are parents, schools, and society preparing children for life… or just leaving the algorithm to raise them? The internet is a powerful classroom. It can teach coding, medicine, languages, business, and countless life-changing skills. But if we fail to guide young people, they’ll learn whatever gets the most engagement. Every post creates a digital footprint. Universities, scholarship boards, employers, and even future partners may one day come across what is uploaded today. Let’s stop rewarding every sensational moment with millions of views and start celebrating intelligence, creativity, innovation, sports, academics, entrepreneurship, and real talent. To every young person reading this: Please take good care of yourselves. Protect your health, your dignity, your reputation, and your future. Stay away from crime, harmful influences, and decisions that could close doors tomorrow. These children are tomorrow’s doctors, nurses, lawyers, judges, engineers, scientists, and leaders. They deserve guidance, protection, and better role models… not pressure to chase online validation. And is this how this generation intend to produce them? The internet isn’t the enemy. A lack of digital guidance is. What do you think is the biggest reason more teenagers are seeking validation online today: poor parenting, social media algorithms, peer pressure, or society’s obsession with going viral?

How did we get here? For crying out loud. 😭!!! Y’all were calling me all sorts of names, saying I was a weirdo. Some of you even said, “They’re just kids.” I was reluctant to post what you’re about to see, but I believe we need to start creating awareness about the extreme things some of these kids are doing and have an honest conversation about how we can tackle the issue. I’ll try to translate some of the Yoruba challenge questions from this video for people who don’t understand Yoruba. Note: The challenge was supposedly meant for grown adults, yet it’s these underage girls in school uniforms participating. I haven’t even seen a single grown adult participate in this particular voice challenge. -Fold one finger if you’ve ever had s*x in a vehicle. -Fold one finger if your “plate” has ever been licked. (I honestly don’t know which plate they’re talking about. 😂) -Fold one finger if you’ve ever performed oral s*x. 😭 -Fold one finger if you’ve ever slept with your friend’s boyfriend or girlfriend. -Fold one finger if you’ve ever cried during s*x, whether tears of pleasure or pain. 😭 -Fold one finger if you’ve ever been injured or had a tear during s*x. -Fold one finger if you’ve ever had s*x in a place of worship or at school. One of them folded a finger… ahh. 😭!!! -Fold one finger if you’ve ever lied during s*x, maybe because you were sleeping with someone you weren’t supposed to. Fold one finger if you’ve ever really enjoyed it. -Fold one finger if you’ve ever been with someone whose D size scared you. They were excited to answer this one. 😭 -Fold one finger if you’ve ever had s*x with someone you knew you weren’t supposed to be with, but couldn’t let them go. And guess what? These children in the video had explored or admitted to almost every fantasy and question that was asked. 😭😭 What exactly do these underage children think they’re doing? Some of them appear to have been exposed to experiences that many adults haven’t even had. And to the grown adults who enable or encourage minors’ sexual curiosity, whether intentionally or through reckless negligence, remember that exploiting children has serious consequences. Gone are the days we used to sing: “Parents, listen to your children, because they are the leaders of tomorrow.” Now it feels like we should also be saying: “Children, listen to your parents, because this path won’t prepare you to become the leaders of tomorrow.” Is this the generation that will produce our future doctors, engineers, nurses, lawyers, and judges? If we fail to guide and protect children today, they’ll become the professionals who treat us in hospitals, defend us in courtrooms, design our infrastructure, and lead our society tomorrow. That’s why this conversation shouldn’t be ignored.
