Animal DID NOT glorify cheating even for a moment. It was part of character’s arc. Vanga literally gave Rashmika 10 mins long scene to vent out her agony. Film never left Geetanjali’s side. It is dumber than saying KANK glorified cheating or Don2 glorified abuse on women.

In Mirzapur, Rasika Duggal’s character asked a woman character to get r@ped by a male charcter just to win the trust of him. 80% scenes in Mirzapur are about abusing women, verbally/physically/sxually, some were even added as comedy. If Animal is misogynist, Mirzapur is 10x.

The allegation that the acting #RanbirKapoor did in #Ramayana when he says he will bring back Sita ma, resembles his acting in #Animal when he says he will avenge Animal, is NOT wrong. But if you read verses you’ll know things Prabhu Rama said in anger when he came to know about Sita Ma getting abducted, is nothing like his calm forgiving character. It is absolutely rageful wrath full of vengeance. He almost behaved like someone who wants to destroy everything. That’s the same feeling Ranvijay felt too. The anger is so brutal that both of them ended up cutting heads of their enemies, even though they are poles apart in character. Ranbir has hit the emotional cords again. Bullseye.

The expression #RanbirKapoor gave when he saw Shruti with her fiancée is MAGNIFICENT. As if he forgot to breathe, as if a painful reality has hit him in his guts & a sudden lump in throat chocked him. His whole world came to a standstill & then the 1st stage of grief kicked in-denial of the heartache. Shruti brought an umbrella & couldn’t give Barfi when he was venting out the anger (2nd stage) while getting drenched in rain, symbolising she won’t get Barfi’s pain. This is entirely his & his only.
