Dear Nigeria Police Force Nigerian Army Department of State Services (DSS) Nuhu Ribadu There is an ongoing attack on Hausa Muslims, those doing menial jobs in Port Harcourt, and allegedly championed not by the indigenous Ekwerre people, but by Igbos in Port Harcourt. In as much as I always condemn the rate at which young Hausa boys flood some southern states doing menial jobs (of course due to the failure of the north and its leaders to provide them quality education), as Nigerians they have the right to live anywhere. According to some sources, an Igbo boy snatched the motorcycle of one Hausa Okada rider, and when they recovered the stolen motorcycle, they beat the thief to a pulp. Some said he died in the hospital. The Okada riders have complained that several of their members were killed along that Eleme Junction and their motorcycle stolen. So this time, they took laws into their hands. This is condemnable. It was after such altercations that some Igbos living in that area went in rampage, destroying properties of Hausa people & protesting that "Aboki Must Go". We call on the authorities to intervene ASAP. As always, I remind those that are quick to attack other tribes living in the midst that, your own tribesmen are also living in other areas, and nobody has the monopoly of the madness you're displaying. The law should take its cause and those criminals should be arrested from those that took laws in their hands to those that went on ramoag attacking innocent Hausa people doing their business in Port Harcourt.

An interesting event, where an Igbo man was turbanned as the "Sarkin Igbon Bauchi" and was celebrated by the owners of the state. Can such ever happen in any southeastern state?

Uranium, a silvery-gray radioactive metal, is found in Zamfara State, Nigeria, though no large-scale mining is currently in operation. In its natural form, uranium ore can appear black, yellow, or green, depending on its mineral composition. While weakly radioactive, uranium poses significant risks if inhaled, ingested, or improperly handled, as it emits alpha radiation and is chemically toxic to the kidneys. The greatest dangers come from uranium dust, radon gas exposure, and improper waste disposal, which can lead to environmental contamination and health hazards like lung cancer. Shockingly, in this a recent video, allegedly from Zamfara mines, it can be seen and heard how people handle uranium, completely unaware of the grave risks involved. In the video, it can be heard that one person recording was telling another called Yushau in Hausa about the quantity of the metal available (8 to 10 kilograms), further exposing the dangerous ignorance surrounding its handling. This reckless exposure highlights the urgent need for government intervention. This further highlights why the authorities must manage and handle the mining crisis in those locations to avoid exposing people to dangerous gasses that would continue to damage their organs. NB: As of February 20, 2025, the market price of uranium is roughly $143 (โ‚ฆ214, 500) per kilogram. (Source:

The Noble Prophet SallaAllahu Alaihi Wa Alihi Wasallam always begin his late night prayers (Tahajjud) with this opening Du'a: Allaahumma Rabba Jabrโ€™eela wa Mikaaโ€™eela wa Israafeel, faatir al-samawaati waโ€™l-ard, โ€˜aalim al-ghaybi wash-shahaadah, anta tahkumu bayna โ€˜ibaadika fima kaanu fihi yakhtalifoon, ihdini limakh-tulifa fihi min al-haqq bi idhnik, innaka tahdi man tashaโ€™u ila siraatin mustaqeem. Meaning: O Allaah, Lord of Jibraeel, Mikael and Israfeel, You are the Originator of the heavens and the earth, the One who has all knowledge of the unseen and what is visible. You judge between Your worshippers in what they differ, guide me to the truth by Your permission in what they differ, indeed You are the One who guides whom You want to the straight path. Anyone who holds unto this Du'a as practices by the Prophet SallaAllahu Alaihi Wa Alihi Wasallam would never fine himself or herself in the midst of doubts or difficulties that have entangled others.

Hi Stephen, It is actually PENGASSAN, not โ€œPENGASSEN.โ€ If you canโ€™t even spell the name of the union, I wonder if you're commenting from a place of knowledge or a shallow place. Letโ€™s clear the fog. Like most Nigerians, I do not always agree with unions. Iโ€™ve disagreed with PENGASSAN many times, even though I was briefly a member. Same way I was once part of ASUU but still critiqued them. But to brand every labour action as โ€œselfishโ€ is not just lazy, it is a dishonourable lie. You claim the โ€œaverage Nigerian workerโ€ is a looter. Thatโ€™s a cheap insult. I work in a private sector, in an organisation much bigger than Dangote Refinery, with presence in over 100 countries, over 100 years in operation. Every Nigerian staff there has been a developer, not a looter. We donโ€™t even fight for our rights, because theyโ€™re provided even before we ask. Thatโ€™s what global standards look like. Now, letโ€™s talk about the refinery engineers. Do you know what it truly means to become a refinery engineer in less than a year? Do you know the kind of sacrifices they made to make that refinery come alive? They pre-commissioned. They commissioned. They started up. They operated. They stabilized the plant. If they were useless, then maybe Dangote himself should put on a helmet and try doing what they did. Or cheap story tellers 'ike you should take the task. They went in without proper training. Without adequate PPEs. Some used their own money to buy safety gear, njust to keep the dream alive. Six days on, one day off. Some pulled 24-hour shifts during shutdowns. They lost lunch, breakfast, and rest facilities midstream. No health insurance. No safe working conditions. Yet they stayed, and delivered. And now, after giving all of that, theyโ€™re branded as saboteurs and cast aside. Thatโ€™s not just unfair, itโ€™s wicked. Quoting them directly: โ€œEveryone says protect investment, yet nobody cares about the sweat and blood that keeps the investment alive. Today it is young engineers cast aside, tomorrow it could be your own son.โ€ Now Stephen, tell me, after years of this kind of sacrifice with nothing changing, what should workers do? Sit quietly and smile while being exploited? Or demand fairness and dignity? Your โ€œif you donโ€™t like it, leaveโ€ argument is weak. Itโ€™s the excuse of those too blind, or too compromised, to confront injustice. No serious society develops that way. You donโ€™t build world-class assets by treating your own people as disposable. Capital doesnโ€™t run a refinery. People do. Protecting investment must include protecting the humans who make that investment productive. Otherwise, you end up with unreliable operations, safety disasters, and eventually, brain drain. And letโ€™s stop dragging history wrongly. Yes, unions in America between 1920-45 were strong. But the lesson wasnโ€™t โ€œcrush labour.โ€ It was to strike a balance between capital and labour. Because when balance is lost, accidents, outages, and unrest follow. Stephen, you are wrong on the facts, wrong on the analysis, and wrong in spirit. If you really want Dangote and others to succeed, start by respecting the very professionals who turned steel and concrete into a working refinery. Without them, capital is dead weight. So next time, if you want to argue, at least argue with facts, not lazy stereotypes about Nigerians being looters. Thank you.

This video is heart touching. It is another testimony that there are great people in Nigeria. The boy is a Keke rider in Kano state, Northern Nigeria. He found some money left by a Chadian business man & his friend he took to a market, to the tune of โ‚ฆ13 Million naira (both the CFA and Naira). He took the money home & consulted him blessed mother. She asked him to wait for his father which he did. The father & uncle took him to go search for the owners where he dropped them, but they didn't find the owners. The next day, he heard a Lost & Found announcement in Arewa Radio Station Kano, and he picked the contact number announced. The owners asked for his location to collect the money but he insisted they both meet at the radio station that made the announcement (a smart move). The amazing part about this story is the fact that this boy comes from a home that is financially very poor, but morally one of the richest you can ever find today anywhere in the world. According to the story, the day the boy returned that money, his parent and himself fed on Garri because that was all they could afford. Meanwhile, the money was still with them at that time. Can you beat that?!โค๏ธโค๏ธ. May Allah bless the mother, the father and the uncle for this excellent training. Please can someone in Kano find us the boy's details from Arewa Radio and we see what we can help him raise? Can we please contribute something and see if we can assist him with what he desires for growth? I hope the Kano state government under His Excellency Abba Kabir Yusuf will also grant this highly honest boy an opportunity to progress his life beyond Keke riding. I have high hope in this country. God bless the Federal Republic of Nigeria ๐Ÿ‡ณ๐Ÿ‡ฌ.

Tomiwa, you might have been jobless if not that you have a heedless crowd that listen to your lies; teach them nothing about morality and uprightness, sing and dance and collect their money to love big. As the lazy mind you are, which all your pastors are, one won't expect you to have what it takes to study and understand the religion of Islam. You need to search for God, because you're presently lost & worshipping a creature of God, that has
