During the Sey/Partridge debate, it became clear quite immediately that Sey didn’t actually have an argument, he just tried to disprove what Dale said. The problem with this is that the debate was over by the time Dale finished his opening. He brought several interpretations, gave them appropriate weight, compared historical and criminal data, the writings of Christian forefathers, and synthesized it into a compelling argument that’s more than enough to continue on believing what Christians (and even non Christians) have always believed. However, Sey consistently continued to insist that there is only one race—the human race (which is verifiably false) but he had so many caveats and qualifiers and “it depends” that by the end of it his answer was “it’s sinful to even think there are different races if you do it like Dale does.”
