We need term limits and a binding code of conduct and ethics for the U.S. Supreme Court. Justice Thomas has been on the bench almost as long as I’ve been alive — that’s not good government. There is no binding code of conduct or ethics for Justices of the Supreme Court — that’s dead wrong. Congress can and must do something about this, and I’m working to get it done.

Today, that case is before the United States Supreme Court. While our Constitution doesn’t always give us the gift of clarity, in the case of birthright citizenship, the 14th Amendment is clear: if you were born in America, you are an American citizen. Period.
