Take a look at $30 of fresh fruits and vegetables that Head Start programs provide. Under the White House's proposed cuts, this is all a Mom and her kids would have for a MONTH. This is plain wrong, especially given the lavish lifestyle of the President and his political allies.

75% of Pennsylvanians don't have a Real ID, and 50% don't have a passport. If the SAVE America Act passes, they wouldn't be able to vote THIS November. Any member of Congress from Pennsylvania who votes yes is voting against the interests of their constituents.

I asked Special Counsel Jack Smith what actions, if any, President Trump took in Pennsylvania, a state that Joe Biden won in the 2020 presidential election, to overturn its results and gain the electoral votes for himself? Listen to what he had to say:

If you’ve committed a crime, you shouldn’t just get to walk because you’re friends with the President. I introduced the No Free Passes for Cronies Act to end the corruption. No more backroom deals. No more special favors. No more free passes.

One of my constituents died in ICE custody two weeks ago, so I went to Philadelphia's Federal Detention Center, and 2 things stood out to me: 1. This is a federal prison holding largely people who have not committed a crime. 2. The people running these ICE facilities don't understand that the rule of law is not optional. Honoring your rights is not optional. We're going to keep up the fight for all of our rights in court and in Congress. Stand with us and make your voice heard.

It's already the law that only Americans can vote in US elections Real IDs in Pennsylvania do not qualify as proof of citizenship, so that means you would have to pay $165 to get a passport to register to vote. The SAVE America Act will disenfranchise millions of Americans. It's a bad idea, and the Senate should vote against it.

It’s been a wild week. Here’s what you need to know: The current CR would shut the government down again next week. Democrats offered a solution to reopen the government and keep healthcare affordable for 24 million Americans through the next year. Republicans rejected it. The Trump Administration is working overtime to deny food stamps to 42 million Americans.

The Save America Act would make it harder for most Americans to register to vote or vote. It is already illegal for non-citizens to vote, and the penalties for violating the law are severe. This bill would burden eligible Americans to provide various documents of citizenship, disenfranchising them.

In 5 years, we’ve seen this President and his allies move from urging Americans to commit violence against our government to using government agents to commit violence against Americans: trying to silence anyone who questions this White House or the legality of its dangerous agenda. This is wrong - and if you can’t see that, then you don't belong in Congress.

We have until December 19th, before 15 million Americans will lose their healthcare coverage. The Senate blocked an extension of the ACA tax credits, and House Republicans only has "concepts of a plan." House Democrats have a discharge petition to extend the tax credits and save healthcare. Call your Member of Congress.

The largest healthcare system in my district recently went bankrupt, leaving thousands of my Delco constituents scrambling for care. Republicans in Congress are pushing for policies that would worsen this crisis so that they can give tax cuts to their billionaire buddies.
