One year ago, I became a major investor, partner and managing partner of the United Football League. What a great f$&king year!!!!! 💪 New teams. New cities. New coaches. New rules. Bigger crowds. Increased viewership. Incredible plays, more innovation and the four-point field goal!!!!! Maybe I should call the 4 point FG the Repolian!!!!! 😂 I could not be prouder of our players, coaches, football operations team, business team, all employees, RedBird Capital, FOX, ESPN, our sponsors and, most importantly, our LOYAL FANS. 2026 was a great building year. I’m Happy but NOT content. We are going to continue taking chances, thinking differently, challenging the status quo and building this league the right way for the future. I promise you 2027 will be far greater than 2026. We will continue to look for the right market, the right passionate fans and the right venue!!!! Two new teams in 2028. Ten total teams. A goal of 16 by 2034!!!!! We are already working on the plans for the 2027 and 2028 seasons, Feel to keep sharing your thoughts, ideas and feedback!!!!! Any new thoughts??? As a kid from Queens, winning the Belmont Stakes was always one of my biggest dreams. I’ve been fortunate enough to win it once and finish second four times. This Saturday, I’m incredibly lucky to have two horses, Renegade and Powershift, competing in the Belmont Stakes. I’ll be thrilled if either one gets the job done, but my heart is with Renegade after his courageous runner-up finish in the Kentucky Derby and Irad Ortiz’s incredible ride. Think Big, Dream Bigger. LET’S GO WIN THE BELMONT STAKES. 🙏🏆🐎

The biggest opportunities in life usually sound crazy at first. Congrats to the Louisville Kings on becoming United Bowl Champions. Renegade had his final work this morning at Palm Beach Downs. Worked strong outside of Powershift (inside). Both Todd Pletcher and Renegade came out of it happy and sharp. Zany also put in a really solid work this morning. Both are heading to Churchill Downs tomorrow morning. We could be looking at favorites in both the Kentucky Derby and the Kentucky Oaks. Now the real question… Who do you like better??? Who you betting??? LFG!!!!! ♥️🙏

Almost speechless. 😂 Fierceness had a historic and epic performance winning the G1 Pacific Classic Del Mar Racetrack Watching this race as a fan in Saratoga with family and friends is why I fell in love with this game and why I still love this game!!!!! This is why I decided to bring him back as a 4YO. It was the fan in me that made me want to bring him back. Amazing job by my friend Todd Pletcher. Incredible job by Hall of Famer Johnny Velazquez, staying on Fierceness as he veered toward the rail at the start and kept his composure throughout. And a legendary performance by Fierceness. For once and for all, does this put an end to the “Fierceness can only win if he gets his own way” nonsense??? 😂 😂 🤣 LFG!!!!! ♥️🙏💪

Everyone’s asking if my nephew Iradortiz is going to ride Renegade in the Kentucky Derby. The one race that no owner should really put added pressure on a jockey is the Kentucky Derby. Either way, Irad will be on Zany in the Kentucky Oaks. Who do you guys think he will ride in the Derby??? Irad and I have a unique and special relationship. 😂🐎💪

Hired a new bloodstock agent yesterday, my daughter Gioia. 😂 🤦♂️ During the day, looking at horses, she fell in love with Hip 64……..a sweet Uncle Mo filly she could pet, kiss, and hug. Let’s just say Gioia’s scouting criteria are a little different than most bloodstock agents. 😂 😂 🤣 So…I let her do the bidding. How’d she do???

As many of you know, I am contemplating a docuseries giving the industry and horse racing fans a real and genuine behind-the-scenes look into our beloved sport. Horse racing is filled with so much energy, passion, love and tremendous highs and lows. Our sport is a melting pot of diverse people from so many backgrounds. This is a sport that is filled with so many life lessons. It can make you laugh, think and cry. This authentic, tough scene (for me 😂) was immediately after the Breeders’ Cup Classic loss. I’m still not sure if this is a docuseries or just expensive home videos for Gioia??? 😂 Dad much > Horse Owner. LOVE ALWAYS WINS. ❤️🙏

Excited about Netflix series “Race For the Crown” being released tomorrow. A behind-the-scenes view of horse racing with jockeys, trainers, owners and most importantly, the Thoroughbred. I’m confident that people who love this sport will really enjoy this series, but I’m even more confident that people who watch horse racing once a year for the Kentucky Derby will love this inside view of the sport. After seeing this clip, I think Muffy and Buffy and many more blue bloods will hate me even more after this. 😂😂🤣 Who plans on watching???

Thank you, Horse Racing X!!!!! 60,000 views. 500 comments. 🔥 Incredible engagement. Fierceness is shipping west to Del Mar for the Pacific Classic next Saturday to take on Nysos and Journalism. Mindframe will square off with Sierra Leone and his emotional support rabbit, Contrary Thinking. The undefeated Mindframe is the #1 older horse in the country after demolishing Sierra Leone in the Stephen Foster. He already beat Nysos and Book’em Danno in the G1 Churchill Downs. Instead of celebrating the 2-year-old champ, last year’s Travers winner, and this year’s undefeated Mindframe, instead of applauding our beloved Commissioner for taking chances, innovating, and trying to market a declining sport, Andy decided to diss us. 🙄 If I wanted to, I could call Andy a clown, an angry elf, a disgruntled degenerate, or just remind everyone about his giant man crush on Chad Brown and Seth Klarman. But no… I’ll be the better man. I’ll take the high road. 😂😂🤣 What do you think of Andy’s comments here??? 🤔

Thank you TDN Writers’ Room for the open and honest discussion about the state of our industry. Even with the potential favorites in both the Kentucky Derby and Oaks with Renegade and Zany, my #1 priority is leading the charge to reverse the sad, negative, and dismal trends across every metric in this sport. I’ve been on this crusade for 3.5 years, and we’re closer than ever. Thanks to the relentless work of Pat Cummings and many others, the momentum is real. The path to transformational change is there. Now it comes down to this: Will certain entities finally give up their self-serving control and open the door to real leadership… Or will we force those doors open ourselves??? No more talk. No more delays. For those who love this sport…watch, listen, and speak up. Agree or disagree??? I want to hear your thoughts.

Players, coaches, teams and the business side all locked in, building something special for this season and the future of the league.
