Somehow there's always money to expand the Pentagon and bankroll Israel's assault on Gaza. But when it comes to healthcare, education, or helping working people, we're told there's nothing left. America's priorities are failing people here and abroad.

The Pentagon is the only place in America where you can fail 8 audits in a row, admit you’ll fail the next few &amp; still get handed more money than you asked for. But let a family need help buying groceries and suddenly it’s a lecture about hard work, responsibility &amp; bootstraps.

Me: How much does the military spend on Viagra each year? Director of Defense Contracts: I don’t have that figured out. Me: about $41.6 million. Do you know how many bridges in my District of Pittsburgh could be repaired with that amount?

Me: How much did the Department of Defense spend on snow crab and Alaskan king crab in 2018? DoD: I don’t have that amount Me: $2.3 million. Do you know how much Pgh spends each year on our unhoused folks? Only $1.2 million &amp; they’re not being served gourmet seafood.

For those keeping track, Pam Bondi is about to be out of compliance with not one but two lawful subpoenas if she fails to show up for a sworn deposition next week. Even after being fired, she's still legally obligated to show up. So we'll see her soon.

We moved to subpoena Elon Musk—an unelected billionaire with massive conflicts of interest, a personal vendetta + access to our most sensitive financial systems. But Republicans blocked it. Who are they protecting? Because it sure isn’t the American people.
