So this just happened. Lara Logan has just come back from a visit to Moscow. She was flown in for the Bolshoi, she appeared on RT, and she recorded a propaganda 'interview' with Kirill Dmitriev. After returning, she hosted Jim Simpson on her podcast. Simpson was explaining the Golitsyn thesis, which argues that the fall of the Soviet Union was a staged deception and that modern Russia is the continuation of the same Soviet system. He was laying this out in detail and making it clear he believes the Soviet structure never actually collapsed. That is the moment when Lara suddenly cut him off and replaced his point with her own narrative about a spiritually renewed and fundamentally different Russia. "But Jim, Russia today is not the same as it was before the collapse of the Soviet Union. I just came back from there and people all over were talking about God and faith. James, I don’t think people fully grasp the scale of what’s unfolding. It is a national security threat, especially with elections approaching. In this clip, Elijah Schaeffer openly admits he was approached by RT (Russia Today) twice to distribute disinformation inside the US. This isn’t isolated. Thousands of influencers and alt-media figures have received similar offers, with large payouts to seed and circulate Russian state-aligned narratives through podcasts, tweets, videos, and livestreams. That content is then strategically amplified by coordinated bot networks and signal-boosted by adjacent influencers here on X. They retweet each other in closed loops, creating a false-consensus echo chamber that simulates mass legitimacy. An alternate reality. It's a cognitive warfare operation being run by a hostile foreign actor (Russia) The DOJ and FBI need to act. Investigate these actors for foreign malign influence, FARA violations, and opaque funding flows including crypto transactions. If they are taking direction or money from foreign sources to shape US public opinion, they are functioning as undeclared foreign agents and need to be held accountable. They need to reopen the Global Engagement Center (GEC) and the Foreign Malign Influence Center (FMIC) and staff them with the right people to manage these threats. Jeffrey Sachs praises the Chinese Communist Party’s governance system as "good governance" and "extremely effective", explicitly endorsing its Five-Year central planning system. He ridicules the US as chaotic, dismisses critics as "primitive", and repeatedly insists China is "not a threat". What he leaves out entirely: communist one-party rule, no elections, censorship and speech control, mass detention and coercive policies in Xinjiang, forced labor allegations, the political crackdown in Hong Kong, repression in Tibet, pervasive surveillance, political prisons, forced technology transfer, decades of global IP theft, massive cyber and espionage activity, rapid military expansion, open threats toward Taiwan, and the militarization of the South China Sea. None of this appears in his praise of "effective" governance. Why does Jeffrey Sachs consistently defend and promote a totalitarian communist regime? Any guesses?
