Cam Newton led Auburn to a Natty with 1 O-lineman that started an NFL game and no one else recording a NFL reception, rush attempt or pass attempt. He’s used to being a one man army, so you are delulu if you thought some guys jumping him was gonna phase him. Hat didn’t even move.

Okay, this IS HATING on Caitlin Clark. Face guarding, extremely aggressive play and the occasional hard foul can be describe as competitiveness. Going out of your way to call her out of her name and body check her to the floor without the ball is HATING.

For those watching the NFL Combine, there is a MASSIVE difference between football speed and track speed. Here is Christian Coleman running a 4.12 second 40 yard dash at 85% effort. The NFL Combine record is 4.22.

Alex Collins was so special man. Amazing teammate and a guy everyone was down to kick it with. This man invited me and wifey out one time in Baltimore and I will never forget it. We show up to the spot and AC is no where to be found. We are looking around for him for 20 min and finally I feel a little nudge on my shoulder. I turnaround and AC is walking behind me, drops his shades to his nose and signals with his eyes to follow him. It was so funny and smooth, we forgot he was 20 min late. AC told us he had to be discreet because he couldn’t have everyone knowing he was there. The rest of the night, we found out why. Everywhere AC went that night everyone knew him. Everyone was excited to see him, laughing when he came around and showing him love. You see everyone loved this man and his energy was contagious. To end the night, he hit this dance with all the fans watching him on the dance floor. WHAT A NIGHT and WHAT A GUY AC WAS. Shared more laughs than people know and I’m blessed to have been your teammate my brother. Rest In Peace.

LOTS of speculation about the Chiefs and the Refs out there, but you can’t run through a guys back before the ball gets there and complain when they throw a flag. NO QUESTION THAT’S PASS INTERFERENCE.

Soccer is booming in the United States and World Cup viewership shows there is MASSIVE interest, but it will never be the priority and always play 5th fiddle to the Big 4 sports in America unless Americans fundamentally change their approach to youth sports. American Soccer is behind the rest of the world for 3 reasons: 1. Cultural Sporting DNA In the USA, Soccer competes in a crowded field of Football, Basketball, Baseball and Hockey instead of dominating like abroad. Europe and the rest of the world built soccer through community clubs, local pride and it being their default sport. They are born with a soccer ball on their feet. 2. Pay-to-Play Barrier In the USA most youth are priced out of playing because the cost to be on the team is too expensive. Currently there is a 14% decline in youth soccer participation between ages 6 to 12. Europe and the rest of world’s accessible club model keeps more kids in the game longer. 3. Less participation in the sport An all time high 16.8 million youth played outdoor soccer in the USA in 2025, but per capita the USA is far behind other European countries like Belgium which has a 3x higher rate of participation for its population size. For American soccer to catch up, it has to change its sporting culture focus to development instead of making money and lower the cost barrier for participation through state and government funded clubs over the next 20 years. Development needs to be the priority, not maximizing how much money can be made off the athlete and their parents. Instead of focusing on the old statement of “if our best athletes played”, focus on making the best athletes want to keep playing and the ones who do play the beautiful game better at it. Then and only then can we find our Erling Haaland, Lamine Yamal, Messi, Ronaldo or Jude Bellingham. We have to build the structure for them to develop in. #FIFAWorldCup #FIFAWorldCup2026 #Football #Soccer #RG3 #OuttaPocket #USA

There’s a line you don’t cross in life and Ryan Clark sprinted past it. Ryan Clark didn’t like my take on Angel Reese hating Caitlin Clark. That’s fine. Disagreement is part of the game. But instead of debating my point, he personally attacked me and my family. That shows how low of person he is. I gave a sports opinion: I said Angel Reese hates Caitlin Clark, based on repeated, visible actions on the court and in press conferences. I backed it up with five separate examples from the game of basketball because that’s what I do. I analyze sports. I stay in the arena. Just because Angel Reese is Black doesn’t mean that her game and actions can not be critiqued. A Black man or woman is not restricted from giving a sports opinion on another Black man or woman just because you don’t like it. Everyone can give their opinion on everyone no matter what color they are. We’ve got to be better in this space. Debate the game. Don’t play with people’s families. Because if you need to cross that line and attack the person and their family instead of the point just to win an argument, then you already lost. Ryan Clark said I don’t understand the struggles of Black women because I’m married to a white woman. That’s wrong and way out of bounds. He suggested I don’t value my wife as the woman I love, protect and raise a family with but only value her because of the color of her skin. That’s wrong and way out of bounds. He implied that he, a man who has never sat at our dinner table, values my wife and knows my marriage better than I do. That’s wrong and way out of bounds. He dismissed my Blackness because I have a different opinion about Angel Reese than he does. That’s wrong and way out of bounds. He claimed that I’m not having conversations about the struggles of Black women in my own home because my wife is white. That’s wrong and way out of bounds. We also raise Black daughters together and don’t teach them to hate people or disqualify their opinions based on the color of their skin. He claimed that I want to appeal to a certain audience. The only audience I’m focused on is the audience of one, God. I support all people, not some people. My support is not based on the color of someone’s skin, but the content of their character. My sports opinions are not based on the color of someone’s skin, but from what I see and my experience as a player and analyst. Let me be clear. It is wildly inappropriate, wrong and extremely low to weaponize and attack a person’s wife, marriage and their family because you disagree with a sports take. I didn’t make it personal with Angel Reese. I didn’t drag her family. I didn’t question her soul. I spoke about basketball. But Ryan? You crossed the line. You made it personal and some. There should be no space in Sports Media for personal attacks and wives and children are alway off limits. You attacked me and my family in a public forum on a level that shows how low of a person you are. Disagree with me all you want. Challenge my take. But keep my family and wife out of it. That’s a boundary that should always be respected. Ryan Clark personally attacking me and my family personally over a sports opinion is cowardly, spineless, and weak. Ryan Clark personally attacking me and my family personally over a sports opinion is a bad look for ESPN and for him as a man. The WNBA has completely mismanaged its biggest star in Caitlin Clark and it’s sad to see. Caitlin Clark didn’t do it alone and there are a number of current and former players who helped pave and maintain the way, but Caitlin Clark has been the primary catalyst for the WNBA’s new media rights deal, new CBA, having to move games to bigger arenas, getting private chartered flights and so much more. Yet when she is targeted in ways on the court that aren’t about basketball, it’s brushed aside as “physicality” or “just the way we play in the W”. No. What Alyssa Thomas did to Caitlin Clark was not about basketball. What Alyssa Thomas did to Angel Reese was not about basketball. It was a cheap shot. It was dirty. It was done on purpose. And it’s hurting the WNBA as a whole. What’s also sad is that because of the mismanagement of Caitlin Clark by the WNBA as a whole, the fact that HISTORICALLY INCREDIBLE BASKETBALL IS BEING PLAYED in the WNBA and it’s not being talked about enough. Marina Mabrey tied the WNBA record for most points in a game with 53 points, 6 Rebs, 2 assists and tied the WNBA record by hitting NINE 3’s for the Toronto Tempo 🤯 Rookie Olivia Miles broke Caitlin Clark and Paige Bueckers’ WNBA record for fastest to score 300 points and have 100 assists. Clark and Bueckers did it in 19 games, so Miles did it in 18. Olivia Miles has also lead the Minnesota Lynx, without star player Napheessa Collier, to the best record in the league and #1 in every major offensive statistic. Angel Reese just became the fastest player to get 1k rebounds. There is so much greatness happening in the WNBA, and it’s being ignored because people don’t want to celebrate it when the league won’t even protect its own players from unnecessary targeted behavior. Some people don’t want to celebrate the WNBA when the league won’t protect its most marketable player that is the driving force behind its increased awareness. But I will say the quiet part out loud. The facts today still show that far too many people are making things in the WNBA about race or sexuality and not the results. Drawing a line in the sand and defending any player’s dirty play just because of the color of their skin is wrong. We shouldn’t be denying the truth of what we see and situating or views of the truth along color lines. Caitlin Clark and every WNBA player wants to compete at the highest level. They are tough and the best female basketball players in the World. They don’t want to be involved in identity politics or race wars. They just want to play basketball. Right & wrong has no color. Alyssa Thomas was wrong for what she did. Caitlin Clark is a phenom, the WNBA has been wrong at so many turns with how they have handled her and the WNBA needs to improve its officiating. Olivia Miles was the right pick for Minnesota and is the runaway Rookie of the Year right now. Marina Mabrey was the right move for the Toronto Tempo. Angel Reese was the right move for the Atlanta Dream. Don’t pick sides based on the color of a player’s skin or their sexuality. Let’s just talk basketball. What Alyssa Thomas did wasn’t about basketball, she is rightfully getting crushed for it and got suspended. But everything doesn’t have to be a race war. It shouldn’t be. Via Outta Pocket with RGIII
