More truck stuff. Picked up hay 35mi away in Taneytown from a nice older couple with horses. They came out to see my truck. Their adult kids came out. Then their kids came out. Their friends came over. They couldn’t believe my truck could pull the hay. The old man asked me what it was “registered as”. I was not sure what he meant. He said “car or a truck!” Lmao. I explained it was indeed a truck with a 6ft bed and showed him an blew his mind that there were no wheel humps. They had JUST bought a new HD Silverado and spent more than $80k. When I told them I averaged close to 100mpgE this time of year when not towing and 50mpgE they were stunned. They asked all about how charging works and self driving. They were super open minded!

FSD faced a real life trolley problem today and everyone lived. I was messing with the MCU when I felt the truck jerk right and then a harder jerk left. Cresting a hill a lady was coming into my lane so FSD moved to the shoulder to avoid her but a jogger was coming so it quickly veered left to give room. 💪🤘

Okay. Today was my first tow with Absolute Unit. She towed a 16ft livestock trailer 91 miles round trip with an average of 705wh/mi. On a 123kwh usable pack this yields a 100->0% range of 174 miles. I drove in chill and low suspension and cruised at 70mph on the highway legs and did 60mph on the 50mph roads to go with flow. Now for some unedited videos and stuff.

I’m increasingly confident in FSD and let situations play out I never would have before. Last night my wife was yelling at me about this SUV speeding through a parking lot. It was pretty obvious they were going to try and exit pit lane ahead of me. No problem. But then they panicked stopped. FSD handled it fine. My wife was full of rage at the idiot though. I don’t get road rage anymore on FSD. I’m just chill.

New intriguing Cybertruck FSD behavior today. These bicyclists were cooking. Going 25-30mph but the Cybertruck moved to pass them. Fine. So I let it and then it just … decided to stay in the left lane. 🤪 I disengaged approaching the hill for obvious reasons. Very bizarre. I’ve never seen it do this before.

Wife just had an emergency meeting with a neighbor. BLUF these little assholes leave the farm every morning and go rooting through his flower beds. My wife was like “we need to fix the gate to prevent the ducks from going to his house” and I was like “excuse me Whut?” And she goes “watch the gate camera from this morning.” lil fuckers. 🤣🤦‍♂️

If you watch just one of my videos tonight watch this one. This object seems to hover and be stationary for so long I almost convinced myself it was a star. And then it slowly. VERY slowly flew right over me and my farm. I estimate it was going 30mph or less. There was some low noise but clearly not a propellor or jet engine noise. It’s not a helicopter for sure. It was WAY too quiet. It was only maybe 300-500ft up.

Wow. It finally happened. We lose power at the farm on a hot sunny day and the wife called me to come hook up the Cybertruck. It’s currently running our 60 gallon bulk tank keeping the milk at a steady 34f and a whole bunch of chest freezers. I just wish the app showed the power output and an estimated remaining time based on the charge like it does with the PowerShare hardware.
