Ok, so... Just vibed a quick proof of concept demo for this. Nothing fancy, yet... But. Awesome to see what's already possible using Three.js x GPT 5.6 Sol for like +- 1 hour to create something like this. 😅 And yeah, everything running 60+ FPS easily. (but for sure needs a LOT of polishing) For sure an awesome game concept INK - Reminds me of Assassin's Creed somehow as well.

I just love creating/designing using awesome AI driven tools like the new The Sandbox Studio + Codex from OpenAI (I personally use GPT 5.5, I prefer it over Claude models) But I cleaned up some bottlenecks, so now it's running 60 FPS, and added some basic 🕷️ models to attack and changed the path design + animated grass and trees with a stylized look. And added some animated wtaer ripples near the edges which I like. But I'll probably add some color variation like I had before back into the mix. Stable 60+ FPS in Three.js — finally. The world renders 149 chunks around the player, while distant terrain is blended into a lightweight placeholder mesh for performance. Move around, and the chunks + fake terrain smoothly fade between each other without killing FPS. World models are instanced too, keeping draw calls low. Your avatar. Synced across every game. Customize it during gameplay, jump between games, worlds, and levels, and your look updates instantly across the platform — even while you’re already in-game. We’ve also added loading screens between switches, making world and level transitions feel smoother and more intentional. I vibecoded a little multiplayer platforming demo with OpenAI and Three.js — and you can now try it in your browser. Run, jump, and explore with others here: I’ve added SFX, background music, and polished the gravity + jumping mechanics. Definitely not a full game yet, but a fun way to start gathering feedback. 🎮

Game switching should feel instant. Smooth. Natural. Almost organic. And when you jump back to the game selection screen, your active session shouldn’t disappear. So we made sure it doesn’t. Meet the miniplayer for HYTOPIA and Three.js games running on the platform.
