Today in Parliament, I called on the Government to impose sanctions on Israel. Over 50 MPs from seven parties have now backed my motion calling for sanctions. That’s the only way to force Israel to stop committing war crimes and to back a ceasefire.

At PMQs today, I told the Prime Minister that to stop a Reform Government we need a return to real Labour values. That means real action to tackle poverty and inequality, a Wealth Tax on the super-rich, and an ethical foreign policy that takes a strong stand against war crimes.

I just told the Health Secretary that restoring the pay of Junior Doctors is totally affordable. Restoring their pay would cost around £1 billion per year. That's less than half the cost of the giveaway handed to the super-rich through the non-dom tax avoidance scheme.
