Eevee next in 4.1 blowing my mind! Ray traced, motion blur, volume scattering, depth of field. All happening real-time. Feels like a game. I'm pausing Blender beginners course because I feel it's worth backing up to use Eevee. Never been tempted to use Eevee until now. #b3d

So far in my two day Godot dev experience I've figured out: - Basic movement - NPC dialog system (where I can write simply branching scripts) - Crouch system that checks for overhead collisions - NPC head tracking (NPC look at you when you get close enough). The live .blend linking alone is enough to justify my switch over.... but I have to say it doesn't just feel like "well I guess it's the free option." So far it feels very intuitive (from my extensive two days experience, lol) #GodotEngine

It's really hard to go wrong with hotspot mapping. Even when I'm being super messy and careless about it. The winner is ZenUV for this in Blender. DreamUV is awesome too, and a good free option. ZenUV has some features that make it more flexible and customizable. #b3d
