🇱🇧⛷️Hey The Olympic Games it would be great if you tell the incredible story of the Lebanese cross-country skier Samer Tawk who is competing in Milano Cortina 2026 Samer, who participated in the 2018 Olympics, suffered a devastating fall from a 14-meter cliff while skiing in Lebanon in 2019, breaking his hip and parts of his body. He stayed for 3.5 months in bed, underwent 9 surgeries, lost 17 kg of muscles and doctors told him he would never be able to ski again. Seven years later, fueled by a relentless mindset and intense training, Samertawk.oly is back competing at the Olympic stage. He still feels pain in his body and hasn’t fully healed. He may not be chasing a medal, but being there again is his greatest victory of all. #Olympics2026 #Olympics #MilanoCortina2026 FIS Cross-Country

Julia Ali shared these videos of her house in Al Khiam town in south Lebanon, one showing her playing the piano one year ago & another showing the Israeli soldiers messing with it after destroying her home. I cannot imagine her pain & heartbreak. This is hard to watch.

How cute was the entrance of the u17 Lebanese national football team to the presidential palace after being crowned West Asia champs?😍I love that they werent shy to do it. The president’s son has been a pro 🏀 player for years so the family is invested in sports. Love to see it.

Hady Habib is out of the #AusOpen after losing to world no. 14 Ugo Humbert 6-3, 6-4, 6-4 in the second round. Thank you Hady Habib for a decent performance against a top 20 player, thank you for the historical qualification, thank you for the historical first round win. Won’t dig into analysis but I hope Hady builds on this achievement in his career, qualifies maybe to another Grand Slam this year, play some ATP tournaments and why not grab an ATP 250 title maybe. I hope what Hady achieved inspires lots of youth in Lebanon to play tennis. The biggest thank you goes to the Lebanese diaspora and Lebanese-Australians in Melbourne for their incredible and crazy support. (📸 Ig australianopen😅)
