It happened outside the Netto supermarket in the Friedrichstadt district of the city, where there was a stand-off between police and the 41-year-old known criminal, who was reportedly shouting "Allahu Akbar." After he shot first, police returned fire, hitting the man multiple times. He is understood to be receiving treatment in the city hospital.

Now, we know more about this violent immigrant's criminal past. In November 2023, Saidilly stabbed and robbed a 25-year-old outside a pub in Leeds, where he had lived for about ten years before returning to Italy. He had also served prison time in the United Kingdom for that attack. Allowed to return to Italy despite his violent criminal record, the Gambian national wasted no time in nearly killing another victim. Saidilly told police after the latest stabbing: "I had fun. 🇩🇰🔴Denmark is now forging ahead with deportations with a new law. The left-wing Social Democrat Mette Frederiksen celebrated the move, stating: "They rape girls and women. They are involved in gang crime and drug offenses. Unfortunately, we have not yet been able to deport them. This is primarily due to the interpretation of the European Convention on Human Rights (ECHR)." Now, this is set to change. She says Denmark is not waiting for the ECHR anymore. All migrants who have been sentenced to one year or more in prison must return to their home country automatically. There will be no case review.
