Listening to my fellow CNN panelists last night, I felt like it was 2017 all over again. RUSSIA, RUSSIA, RUSSIA! First, they denied the intelligence community was part of The Swamp. Then, they accused me of lying about Barack Obama’s central role in the Trump-Russia collusion hoax. And finally, they lectured me for suggesting there was anything nefarious about the whole ordeal. We’re talking on CNN about the allegations against Graham Platner and the conversation immediately turns to Brett Kavanaugh. Seriously. Despite the well-documented problems with Christine Blasey Ford’s story, Charles Blow had the gall to tell me: “I don’t believe that you do care about what women are saying.” I met him for the first time 10 minutes earlier, so take from that what you will. Maybe I’ll send him a copy of “Justice on Trial,” the definitive book on the Kavanaugh confirmation hearings by Mollie and Carrie Severino. It should clear up any lingering questions he might have.

Even if the CNN anchor didn’t fully appreciate it, I felt it was important to end today’s show on a hopeful note. Yesterday, U.S. Catholic bishops formally consecrated our nation to the Sacred Heart of Jesus—a once-in-a-lifetime act for the 250th anniversary. This is a powerful reminder that faith has always been woven into America’s story. On this Solemnity of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, let’s give thanks for God’s blessings on our great nation. That’s something that should unite us. 🙏🇺🇸

The U.S. national debt is $37 TRILLION today and rising rapidly. That’s a whopping $108,000 per citizen. And yet almost no one in Washington—Rand Paul being the notable exception—has the courage to address this excessive spending. I’m glad Elon Musk is making it a priority.

It’s a complete and total mess in California—just like everything Gavin Newsom touches. He signed the law making vote-by-mail permanent for all 23 million registered voters even though the safest and most secure way to vote is to show up at your local polling place.

Joining the Catholic Church is countercultural—it’s a rejection of relativism in favor of stability, tradition, and the truth. Having spent the past year on this faith journey, I’m grateful to God for leading me home. I can truly say that it has changed my life in ways I never imagined. I had the good fortune of sharing a few thoughts with Katie Pavlich on her NewsNation show. Praying for all the catechumens and candidates who are entering the church this weekend. Happy Easter!

Don’t believe the naysayers who claim the U.S. Senate can’t pass the SAVE America Act. It can be done, as Mike Lee has repeatedly explained. We need senators to have a backbone, put in the work, and force the Democrats to debate. I’ve had enough of the excuses.

$9 billion is a good start, but it can’t be the end. Congress needs to keep cutting and chipping away at America’s debt. And let’s be honest, this wouldn’t have happened without Elon Musk. Give the man credit for paving the path with his leadership of Department of Government Efficiency.

There’s still an audience for late-night comedy. Just look at the success of Gutfeld!. He had the 4th most popular show on cable in April, consistently pulling in more viewers than Stephen Colbert got on broadcast TV. Colbert wasn’t funny. That’s why he’s out of a job.
