For me, Makerfield isn’t a stepping stone. It’s my home. The people here are my neighbours, friends &amp; family. I took Nigel Farage out in my van to show him the places that matter to me. We chatted rugby league and why Makerfield finally needs a proper local MP.

St Mary’s Church in Ince once served the people of Makerfield. Now it’s a mosque. Our Christian heritage is being erased. Reform UK will ban the conversion of churches and protect Britain’s traditions.

Andy Burnham could have stood in Makerfield in 2024 but chose not to. He apparently tried to stand in 26 different seats including Gorton &amp; Denton, Bootle and Warrington. We are bottom of Burnham’s list.

Great to have Suella Braverman in the van to chat about our new Women &amp; Motherhood Protection Act. Reform will go further than any party ever has to protect women in the workplace.

The Green Party don't get that the more people you have in a country the more houses you will need.

Ashton Library has been closed and left to rot for almost two years. As MP for Makerfield I will fight tooth and nail to get this building repaired, reopened, and serving this community again.

Thank you to the 15,696 people who voted for me and to all the volunteers who put in a proper shift over the past 4 weeks. The campaign's over, but the movement isn't. We keep fighting.

Reform will reward hard graft with fair pay. This policy to remove tax from overtime would have been a godsend for me a few years ago. It will help loads of people in Makerfield and Wigan.

Regular campaign update from the van with the legendary June Slater... This is a straight up two-way fight. If you want a local voice representing Makerfield, vote Reform UK on June 18.

I feel honoured that so many wonderful Reform members have come to support the campaign. This was my speech to them. Let’s take back our country.

Since Labour took charge they’ve allowed over 72,000 illegal migrants to arrive. That’s almost the entire population of Makerfield. These people are costing us billions. They must be deported.

Next Thursday is election day. This is a two-horse race. It’s a choice between someone who lives and breathes Makerfield, or someone that wants to use us as a stepping stone for his ambition.

They’re trying to build 400 houses on Winstanley’s green belt. That’s 1000 extra cars on the roads &amp; 1000 more people using infrastructure that doesn’t exist. As MP for Makerfield, I will fully support restoring Winstanley Hall, but strongly oppose the rest of this development.

I would like to thank all these brilliant people for coming to help me. This battle truly is David Vs Goliath.
