At Battersea Power Station, The King and Tim Cook have spent time with young people taking part in the newly launched Apple x King’s Trust Creative Labs. 🧑💻 The Creative Labs offer young people opportunities to learn from Apple’s experts across various creative industries as they explore potential career pathways. 🎧 The new programme builds on a long-running partnership between Apple and The The King's Trust and launches during the Trust’s 50th anniversary year. 🎤 In the newly unveiled AppleMusicHall, The King and Tim Cook were joined by Elton John, a longstanding supporter of The King’s Trust and AppleMusic, to watch a short performance by Skye Newman, together with young people supported by The King’s Trust.

Remembering all those affected by the tragic events of 9/11, 25 years ago today. A commemorative Guard Change took place on the forecourt of Buckingham Palace this morning, during which The Duke and Duchess of Gloucester took the Royal Salute on behalf of The King. The ceremony included performances of both US and UK National Anthems, Hymn to the Fallen and Amazing Grace. Earlier this year, Their Majesties paid their respects at the 9/11 Memorial in New York, as part of the State Visit to the United States.

Today at Cairngorms National Park, The King met firefighters, volunteers, and community leaders to thank them for their response to this summer’s devastating Glenmore and Abernethy wildfires, hearing firsthand accounts of the recovery efforts. The visit also celebrated a historic new conservation partnership: the official twinning of the Cairngorms with the USA's ShenandoahNPS. Recalling his speech to Congress about how these two ancient mountain ranges were once one, His Majesty met with staff and Junior Rangers from both locations to launch this new "Sister Parks" initiative dedicated to protecting our shared natural heritage. 🌲🏴🇺🇸

During a visit to the Isle of Man, The King sat down with James Fenton, a 104-year-old Burma Star veteran. James is one of the last surviving veterans of the Burma Campaign. His Majesty previously met him at commemorations for the 80th anniversary of VJ Day in 2025.

Each show always features a completely different array of great performers, reading remarkable letters written over the centuries and from around the world. Audiences attending Letters Live never know who is going to take to the stage or what letter they are going to bring alive. Her Majesty participated in tonight’s show alongside other cast members including Jessie Buckley, Simon Callow, Olivia Colman, Benedict Cumberbatch, Dame Harriet Walter, Rob Rinder, Sara Pascoe, and more. Tonight’s show will raise money for National Literacy Trust, of which Her Majesty is Patron.

At Golders Green today, The King reaffirmed his support for the Jewish community, following a series of antisemitic attacks. During his time at the Jewish Care centre in North-West London, The King spoke to victims of the recent knife attack that took place in the area on 29th April 2026. His Majesty also met community police force, Shomrim, who were involved in responding to the attacks.
