Big moment for #sophiefromromania - very happy to see this

Is she beginning to learn how to play? #sophiefromromania has found the ball we left in the garden

Now I’m getting a bit of love from #sophiefromromania

Just now - big breakthrough as #sophiefromromania joins me in the kitchen as I make toast. And isn’t spooked when the toaster pops!

A beautiful moment between the prof and #sophiefromromania

Dear #sophiefromromania so wants to explore her new home but still finds it a little scary

Getting #sophiefromromania to come back in once she’d ventured out proved a major challenge- and now the kitchen is freezing!!

Ever so slowly #sophiefromromania is learning to trust us - after the prof, even I was allowed a stroke this morning

Now that’s better #sophiefromromania

Well we’re going to have to remember not to leave food on the kitchen counters when #sophiefromromania is around

Counter-surfing #sophiefromromania

A new game for #sophiefromromania involving flower pots

At last the prof and I are both home, #Strictly is on and #sophiefromromania is hanging out with us

Well #sophiefromromania you’re in a playful mood this morning

Well we got down to the beach below our holiday home but #sophiefromromania required a certain amount of carrying from the valiant prof. Still she made it back uphill under her own steam!

This morning I was taken for a walk by a very confident #sophiefromromania

A milestone moment as #sophiefromromania takes a treat outdoors from the hand of a stranger Joe Inwood - Joe is more used to working in war zones so huge respect to him that he took this mission seriously and worked hard to gain Sophie’s trust

The prof and #sophiefromromania are playing outside again

Sausage? Don’t mind if I do says #sophiefromromania - and to the person who asked in BLOCK CAPS, YES SHE’S ALSO EATING PROPER DRY FOOD FROM HER BOWL!

A slightly nervous walk around the block with #sophiefromromania - some children were being dropped off at school which was scary but thanks to the very calm Diane Coyle we made it

Finally #sophiefromromania emerges - but you’ll be glad I cut when I did

Oh how sweet it is to see #sophiefromromania allow the prof to stroke her

After a slightly tricky morning I had my longest loveliest cuddle yet with #sophiefromromania

Breaking - great new #sophiefromromania content! First time we’ve had sustained barking and guess what she’s looking at…

Earlier Diane Coyle made big strides in winning the trust of #SophieFromRomania - she’s a bit more cautious with me but we’re getting there

Sensitive content

Oh #sophiefromromania you are such a beautiful girl

A bit worrying that spycam shows #sophiefromromania didn’t emerge from behind the sofa overnight but she’s been tempted out briefly by some breakfast leftovers

After a quiet day #sophiefromromania seems to like to come out at 8pm when we sit on her sofa having some cheese

#sophiefromromania - you’d really like it up on the sofa with us

Had a bit of a special moment with #sophiefromromania

This morning #sophiefromromania and I are playing “how far would you go for a piece of frankfurter?”

The last two mornings #sophiefromromania has stayed hidden overnight but come out cautiously when I am sitting at the breakfast table. Feels like a positive development - or is she just in love with the voice of justin webb ?

So excited to reveal the fruits of my labour (ok #sophiefromromania yours too) For the full story of Sophie’s journey you can pre-order Sophie From Romania: A Year of Love and Hope with a Rescue Dog here:

This from last night is encouraging because #sophiefromromania is actually looking at me and expecting treats

Well who wouldn’t pop out for a steak asks #sophiefromromania

A peaceful breakfast scene until the toaster pops spooking #sophiefromromania

Dear #sophiefromromania seems quite pleased to see me in the morning but still a bit nervous around me

Finally #sophiefromromania has perfected the Prof’s exercise routine

It was a busy morning of gardening for #sophiefromromania

A very frisky #sophiefromromania in the garden this morning
