At this point, we need an honest conversation about Forex. For nearly four years, many have insisted it’s all a scam. Yet every other day, we see Forex traders buying houses, gifting cars, hosting huge events, and living lavishly. Faking that lifestyle consistently for four years would be incredibly expensive. Before we rush to embrace Millicent Omanga’s new political message under DCP, let’s ask: where was this energy when she was in government defending the administration? Today she is one of the loudest critics of President William Ruto. That is her right. But Kenyans may ask what changed. If these concerns were serious, why were they not raised with the same intensity while she was in the establishment? This is not about defending Ruto or rejecting criticism. It is about applying the same standard to every leader. Judge politicians by their track record, consistency and actions when they had influence, not just by words after switching sides. As citizens we should not follow politicians on emotion or current allegiance. Ask tough questions, weigh actions against words, and remember that alliances may change but accountability should not.
