The point of my criticism of College GameDay was simple. They had an opportunity to make it a celebration of #CFB and instead made it a joke. Direct, to the point, and also acknowledging that falling short is a human trait - it happens & we all do it! #CVE23 #GoCougs #GoBeavs

Love getting to be a father while in sobriety. The innocence of a child being able to be relived as an adult when that innocence felt like it was gone for so long. I’m a grateful, blessed, father in recovery and I couldn’t be more lucky for it all!! Love you bubs. @banannazon

I spent years thinking everything was about me—my success, my failure, my embarrassment. But even in the lowest moments (like throwing a pick as a QB in a prison yard) there were lessons waiting. The moment I stopped making everything about me, my life started to change. Shoutout to the Panini Senior Bowl for the opportunity to share my journey. Football has a way of teaching lessons far beyond the field. #SeniorBowl #Perspective #Redemption #SecondChances #Leadership #Humility #Adversity #Growth #LessonsFromTheGame #Impact

Today I am visiting San Quentin Prison in California. Rich Eisen asked me on Rich Eisen Show why I do it - here's the reason. Providing avenues of hope to folks on the inside is the only way to end recidivism. Otherwise they (and our entire country) will be stuck in the cycles of the criminal justice system for generations. Time for a new normal! Doing it with The LAST MILE every step of the way.

The trajectory of a life can change with a single opportunity. I know mine did. For so many justice-impacted individuals, the cycle of incarceration feels impossible to escape. Returned citizens experience countless barriers to building a life with financial security, often leading them right back to a desperate lifestyle that uses crime to survive. Programs like The Last Mile prove that these cycles can be broken when those same citizens are given skills to thrive while incarcerated. By providing tech education and career training inside prisons, The LAST MILE empowers students to build skills, confidence, and a future they never thought possible. These opportunities don’t just impact the individuals inside—they ripple out to their families and communities, breaking generational cycles of incarceration and creating new pathways to success.
