A driver was prosecuted for failing/refusing to carry mr and my @seeing_dogs Ava because she was present. This is an offence under Section 170 of the Equality Act in the UK. Total sentence was £406 for Mr. De Silva. Running down the road after him was so embarrassing.

This morning I was told of successful prosecution number 12. Mr. Mohamed Waberi was found guilty of refusing to take me because of the presence of my guide dog Barney. Fine - £375. Costs - £250. Victim surcharge - £150. Compensation to me - £100. His license is also gone. 1/4
