The last few days have been difficult for the people of #Bangladesh. I would like to start by mourning the loss of all innocent lives. PM #SheikhHasina's Govt is sincere in investigating all incidents of death, and has already formed a judicial commission, headed by a High Court judge, to investigate such incidents. On the quota issue, the Bangladesh Awami League Govt and the #QuotaProtestors had almost identical positions to begin with. In 2018, PM #SheikhHasina abolished all quotas through a declaration. It was the High Court which cancelled the declaration. The Govt then appealed against the HC decision in the Appellate Division, and in the quickest possible time, got the HC ruling overturned. For days, the protests continued without any incident, under full cooperation of the govt. How did such a peaceful movement turn into a campaign of arson, vandalism, violence, and looting? Because, as usual, the #BNP-#JamaatEIslami clique used an essentially non-political and non-violent movement to wage a violent movement of their own. Sensing the involvement of the vested quarter, the protestors themselves issued several statements disowning the violence and confirming that a third party is behind these acts with no relations to the protestors whatsoever. In the last few days, these cowards (using the protests as a cover) carried out widespread violence terrorizing the people. They targeted law enforcement officials, journalists, public and pvt. transport and properties, important govt establishments, and KPIs. There has also been widespread looting of public and private properties, wherever such opportunities arose. A jail was attacked, freeing all prisoners, and its arms looted. It was only due to these unprecedented levels of violence that the govt took the drastic decision of deploying armed forces and imposing curfew on movement (temporarily only). This is because the govt is under a positive duty to prevent any further violence, safeguard public and private properties, and uphold the national security of the country.

Flanked by masked and armed body guards, styled after #IS, another militant leader with his face covered, can be seen offering sermons to indoctrinate audience into the path of intolerance and #extremism. Such open brandishing of fire arms and impunity for addressing crowds had been prevented by law enforcement under Awami League regime but under #Yunus led regime these intolerant elements are recruiting people with total immunity, an alarming outcome of so called reform agenda. #Bangladesh

Emboldened with impunity under reform, BNP leaders take oath publicly to exterminate every single citizen affiliated with Awami League In broad day light, hundreds of BNP leaders, led by Jamal Uddin, president of Joggochola Union, Manikchari Upazila, in hill tracks area, took a veiled oath to accomplish pogrom --hunt down and kill citizens affiliated with Awami League—. The oath taking is driven by single motto-- wipe out the oldest party. Video shows how mob violence getting mainstreamed on educational campuses - Target is to deny academic rights of students affiliated with Awami League Almost after two months after August 5, the culture of mob violence has been systematically and in a coordinated manner, practiced on universities, the center of higher education where culture of tolerance and dissent would have been practiced. On October 19, Abdul Aleem, a student of Bangla Department, in Islamic University, went to the university to take part on an examination. But a selected group of activists used the pretext of mob and barred him from attending the exam, only because of his political belief. Though not proven guilty of any crime, the student was later handed over to police station with presence of university authorities, a sign of pandering to mob violence. BBC Bangla report reveals how innocent people are paying millions as ransom to exclude their names from false murder cases. The report also revealed in first 100 days home and law ministry of #Bangladesh did not take any concrete steps to stop the practice rather some empty pledges from advisors appeared delayed and regarded as lip service. Scores of media reports also revealed how names of Bangladesh Awami League leaders and activists were also added in these false cases to persecute dissenters, a manifestation of a farcical trial process unfolding in the country under unelected #Yunus regime. Islamist group Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami's student wing Bangladesh Islami Chhatrashibir's telegram group told it all, the voilence using the Quota Movement was pre-planned. --- The movement of the students was infiltrated by miscreants. This is evident from the fire attacks on private and public properties across the country. High-ups in law enforcement agencies believe that such violence cannot be perpetrated by students. “It is clear like daylight that the BNP-Jamaat gang has carried out the widespread anti-state destruction”. The miscreants have taken shelter in adjoining districts of Dhaka. Five such arsonists were arrested from a Shibir-den by police in Keraniganj’s Hasnabad area. Among them is the Science and Training Secretary of Islami Chatro Shibir’s Dhaka District (West) Abdul Qadir Zilani and the Human Resources Affairs Secretary Nazmul Hossain.

While in press months back Chittagong police commissioner Hasib Aziz claimed to make the force neutral and protector of citizens, Yunus’s blue-eyed cop directed all cops under his command in metropolitan city to - Work as an extension arm of the regime to exterminate Awami League - Team up with Yunus backed Kings party leaders in mission to deny Awami League activists rights to #freedomofassembly - Empower Yunus loyalists with immunity to hunt down, detain and attack #AwamiLeague activists - Employ all repressive measures to snatch away rights of freedom of assembly of citizens associated with Awami League Appointed by Muhammad Yunus, the same cop also was the architect behind repressing minorities with false lawsuits, illegal incarceration and torture in the hometown of Yunus where minorities held largest protests against systematic patronization and immunity against unprecedented wave of communal violence since Yunus. Siddique ul-Islam A.K.A #BanglaBhai from Gabtoli, Bogura was the military commander of Al Qaeda affiliated radical islamist organization Jagrata Muslim Janata Bangladesh (JMB). He gained worldwide notoriety for 500 bombings on August 2005 & terrorist activities. He was given death sentences & was executed by hanging on 2007. On February 07 extremists were seen to claim Bogura as the base ground of Bangla Bhai. They started vandalising & setting fire on Awami League & Jatiya Samajtantrik Dal offices chanting the name of Bangla Bhai. This is clear evidence of involving radical outfits in recent vandalism, mob lynching, arson at addresses linked to Awami League that began on February 05 night with the demolition of historic Dhanmondi 32 building. #Bangladesh #BangladeshCrisis #BangladeshViolence
