While addressing the house today, it was a non-partisan articulation of my thoughts. We lament the loss of all and never remain biased when it comes to humanitarian issues. We respect the dignity of all martyrs across the party lines, the mainstream in J&K has a collective responsibility to ensure peaceful and stable J&K. Let not the sacrifices of innocents irrespective of religion , caste and region fall victim to politics. The fight to reclaim an inclusive India is for all leaders and political parties. What happens in any part of our country affects us and sometimes hurts us as we see politics of hate prevailing over brotherhood. we can't be biased to express outrage at one tragedy and remain silent over the other, we can't be tolerant to one thought and intolerant to other, we can't lament one life and not the other. We must bind our ways to equality, fraternity and justice as engraved in our constitution.

I have formally filed a complaint at P/S Harwan against lower-rank LCMA officials for alleged harassment of locals and for falsely using my name during demolition drives, which amounts to defamation. I have also taken up the issue of LCMA jurisdiction at the highest level to seek denotification of LCMA from rural areas. Besides raising this in upcoming session of Legislative Assembly to fight for poorest of poor in rural area’s of Srinagar. I will leave no stone unturned in resolving this issue & will knock the doors of honourable court if required . Moreover, J&K Anti Corruption Bureau must enquire into the assets and conduct of the watch & ward staff to ensure accountability and justice & to stop further blackmailing by few officials irrespective of their positions in deptt J&K Anti Corruption Bureau

Alhamdulillah, laid the foundation stone of the much-awaited Mahmud Gami (RA) Playfield at Habak Shanpora — a proud moment to honour our legendary poet. In the 1st phase, earth filling and turfing will be completed followed by the 2nd & final phase featuring a pavilion and other modern facilities to provide our youth a vibrant sporting space. I am humbled to have initiated this important project and delighted to share that a new school and a community centre are also in the pipeline, InshaAllah — continuing our commitment to holistic development across Hazratbal Constituency.
