This morning, there were quadcopters shooting at children in Beit Lahia! During our water distributions, these kids were pushing their jerrycans in a trolley when a quadcopter started shooting at them. The military occupation is constantly targeting Palestinian children in Gaza. This is beyond horrific yet it’s STILL happening, almost for three years now. There is no ceasefire, there was never a ceasefire. The genocide in Gaza needs to end! The children made it out of there safely, and so did the rest of the people collecting water. A big thank you to our team on the ground that continues to provide water daily in one of the most dangerous parts of the Gaza Strip. Support our water distributions in North Gaza through the Food & Water Campaign today: Other ways to donate include: (Paypal option, please make sure to add a message saying "WATER") (Venmo option, please make sure to add a message saying "WATER")

Palestinians in Gaza have very strong attachments to their neighbourhoods. From Rafah to Beit Lahia, many are deprived from being on their land due to the yellow zone. Support Gaza here: Not an inch of Palestine. We, Palestinians, will not give up on a single inch. The rest of Gaza will return to the Palestinians and eventually all of Palestine will. While we continue to fight for liberation, we need to support Palestinians in Gaza with aid. Funds dropped lately and we need your help to get more donors. Give to Gaza: Over a month ago, high school students in Gaza waited for their Tawjihi exam results - not in their family homes, surrounded by loved ones ready to celebrate, but standing in water lines, trying to secure enough clean water to survive. Now, as students return to school, we are reminded again of how much potential is being stolen from them. Instead of preparing for high school, university, exams, and their futures, students are waking before dawn to line up for water. Hours that should be spent studying are consumed by the daily struggle to survive. Palestinians have always taken immense pride in education. But when families are thirsty, hungry, displaced, and exhausted, everything becomes secondary to survival. Gaza’s students deserve the chance to learn, dream, achieve, and build their futures - not spend their childhoods searching for water. Support The Sameer Project’s Food and Water Campaign so we can provide more water, easing the burden on these students: Other ways to donate include: (Paypal option, please make sure to add a message saying "WATER") (Venmo option, please make sure to add a message saying "WATER")

"I send a message to the whole world to stand by me and every Palestinian hostage" Imagine losing a leg and then getting imprisoned and then losing your eyesight. That’s what happened to Mahmoud Abu Foul at the age of 28. He was abducted from Kamal Adwan hospital on December 27th and endured 8 months of brutal torture, beatings and humiliation. Mahmoud like many other returned hostages isn’t getting the proper medical care and can’t get a prosthetic leg as it is not available in Gaza. Borders need to open for doctors and field hospitals to provide adequate treatment. Till then, The Sameer Project are providing medical care through our Sawarha medical point and medical treatment camp to Mahmoud and others like him. Meanwhile, we gave Mahmoud dressings and medications worth $68 and cash aid. We are looking to support the released hostages with medical and mental health care. Please support and donate to the medical campaign through our Chuffed link: Other ways to donate include: (Paypal option, please make sure to add a message saying "Medical") (Venmo option, please make sure to add a message saying "Medical")

An emotional day for The Sameer Project team when we opened the desalination plant on September 10th! Support our work: After long hours of tears and sweat, we managed to open a desalination plant that provides a new source of clean water in Gaza. With God’s grace and your material support, we were able to do it. This desalination plant will help us save costs on providing water and we will also provide our partner organizations with free water to distribute. Working in community is a key pillar of The Sameer Project. So this is not our success, this is the success of mutual aid groups in Gaza. To operate the plant, we will need around $1,500 per day and we will be able to produce at least 150,000 liters of fresh water with that. The Sameer Project still needs your support to operate the desalination plant so please commit to a small amount monthly to sustain this important work. Gaza’s water crisis is already catastrophic. Now when, out of complete necessity due to the lack of funding, The Sameer Project is forced to stop our water distributions, it will become unimaginable for the families who depend on us. In the brutal summer heat, water is survival. And without enough donations, we cannot keep bringing it to the communities that need it. Please help Gaza through this manufactured suffering caused by the occupation. Donate to our Food and Water Campaign. Less money for more water. That’s what we’re working on achieving at The Sameer Project through partnerships and finishing our desalination plant. Help us now: We managed to provide 430,000 liters for $4,845 instead of $6,300 by getting more free water from our partners at MSF. We are also working on getting subsidized fuel to further lower the trucking costs, and the desalination plant will also help provide more water for less money. When you donate to The Sameer Project, we know that you want maximum support to Palestinians in Gaza, and we do everything we can to provide it. Our strategy is the most amount of aid for the least amount of money! Your dollar goes a long way with The Sameer Project. Our team occasionally send us videos of specific tough cases and this one broke our hearts. A single mom with her mentally ill mother and three children, with no shelter or any basic needs provided. Support her case here: With a pack of diapers costing over $28 and a can of milk costing $11, families like this can’t afford to cover the basics for their baby. In addition, people with mental illness struggle a lot in the genocide with no care or support provided. Unfortunately, families like these are invisible to large organizations and supporters through social media. In the famine, the first people who pay the price are these invisible families with no access to any support or/and who suffer from chronic illnesses / mental illnesses, and/or those pregnant or with babies, etc. We will provide support to this family and other families in similar situations. Please donate to the South campaign to support such cases: Other ways to donate include: (Paypal option, please make sure to add a message saying "South aid") (Venmo option, please make sure to add a message saying "South aid")

It was the last few days of Ramadan. Families had plans to gather and celebrate, but the ceasefire abruptly and violently ended a week prior. This is when 14 year old Hassan was injured with stray shrapnel that pierced through his skull and into his brain and eye. Help with his care: Hassan’s treatment is not available in Gaza. Like so many others he awaits evacuation with a referral report grading his condition as “emergency.” But with ongoing evacuation orders and incessant bombings it’s been weeks since the last medical evacuation, and the World Health Organization has yet to contact Hassan regarding treatment abroad. Hassan and his family have been living at our Refaat Alareer Camp and receiving medical treatment including physiotherapy, wound cleaning, and symptom management for his eye. He has seen specialists at every hospital in the North and the South and The Sameer Project team is doing everything to keep him calm and comfortable and manage his pain. Medical evacuations are nuanced, rare, and so difficult. We need to allow patients to receive lifesaving care outside of Gaza’s destroyed medical system. In the meantime The Sameer Project continues to support many of these patients who are waiting, who are suffering. Help us by contributing to the Camp link. We have been supporting 20-year-old Saeed for well over a year. His smile still warms our hearts!! Support Saeed’s monthly supply: Saeed lives with cerebral palsy and spinal curvature, and his mother cares for him day and night - making sure he is comfortable, protected, and always knows how deeply he is loved. May God bless her efforts and protect Saeed. His care requires constant support: formula and nutritional assistance, diapers, medications, supplements, creams, food, and other daily necessities. It takes an entire network of care to protect his health and keep that beautiful smile on his face - but due to Gaza’s collapsed healthcare system, Saeed’s support only comes from us. On September 6, The Sameer Project provided Saeed with medications for three months, formula, food support, diapers, and other essential supplies. Each time we visit with goods from our storage and medication from our warehouse as well as fresh food, the cost is around $200. The Sameer Project can no longer take on new individual cases like Saeed’s. And if funding does not improve, even the families we have supported consistently may become harder to sustain. Imagine how many lives we could reach if this kind of support were consistent instead of uncertain!! Please support The Sameer Project’s Medical Campaign: Your sustained support allows us to keep showing up for patients like Saeed - not once, but month after month because true support is making sure the person is cared for, they are not just another number. The Sameer Project doesn’t just provide aid in Gaza. It provides aid to areas no one reaches. It goes to areas near the yellow line where no other aid group would go. Help here: Our water distributions cover areas near the yellow line with hundreds of families. When we decided to pause, The Sameer Project was going to stop all water distributions till we get back on track with funding but our team on the ground refused. They told us that some camps will literally have zero water in the hottest time of the year. This is why we went into debt and continued to distribute water knowing that our community will rise and provide support. During the pause, with God’s blessing we are able to provide 185,000 liters to the camps most in need. Help us give consistently and with predictability through the Food & Water Campaign: Other ways to donate include: (Paypal option, please make sure to add a message saying "WATER") (Venmo option, please make sure to add a message saying "WATER")

Remember the sweet boy with a big smile. The Sameer Project team in the South got him and his family a tent and mattresses thanks to your generous support. Donate here: Khan Younis is now no longer accessible to the Sameer Project team due to the displacement map release today dividing the South from the Central area. This is disastrous as around half a million people are trapped in Khan Younis. For the time being, the Sameer Project will set up tents in the Central area where a lot of displaced people are with no shelter or tents in bad condition. Each tent costs $384 with 7% commission. Please donate to the South campaign for more tent distributions: Other ways to donate include: (Paypal option, please make sure to add a message saying "South aid") (Venmo option, please make sure to add a message saying "South aid")

A big challenge that Palestinians in Gaza face is the lack of hygiene products forcing them to use water from the sea and sand to wash their plates and clothes. HELP: The salty sea water that is full of sewage … Most people can’t afford to buy hygiene products as they are trying to survive and purchase food and water. This is why at The Sameer Project, we regularly provide hygiene packages to underserved displacement camps. On April 12th, The Sameer Project gave the Manshia Camp 43 hygiene packages with a broom, shampoo, detergent, washing liquid and more. Total cost was $1,614, including 11% commission that is used to get money into Gaza. Support our Shelter, Goods & Activities Campaign today. We are back and ready to make delicious and nutritious food for Palestinians in Gaza! Support us here: The Sameer Project started a monthly donation campaign to create some predictability and consistency that allowed us to reopen our kitchen. However, we didn’t make enough to operate at full capacity! Right now, The Sameer Project kitchen is operating only four days a week instead of seven, and making only 1,600 meals daily instead of 3,000. The genocide in Gaza didn’t end so we should be giving the maximum support and only you can make this happen. Plan a fundraiser, send a mass email, stick flyers in your area, and do what you can to help us get more monthly donors. We created a booklet to make this easier for you with email and flyer templates- you can find it in our linktree in bio. As a parent what would you do if you couldn’t feed your children? Watching them starve, crying for food, as your own empty stomach gnaws at you. HELP: Children in Gaza are still malnourished, still starving, a famine still underway. Aid trucks are still just trickling in, no where near as many as necessary to feed a besieged population. The Sameer Project team visited Preparatory School C in Deir al-Balah area to deliver meals to the entire school that was transformed into a family shelter. We distributed 500 spiced rice meals with vegetables, each one costing a little less than $6. The entire sheltered distribution on September 21 cost $3,199. Every donation, any amount, has an impact. For just $6 you can help a parent feed their children, fending off starvation for another day. Donate to the South Campaign to give food. Back-to-school means something different this year in Gaza. After years of disruption, displacement, fear, and destroyed classrooms, we are so proud to support children in their efforts to focus, learn, and be given the opportunity to be students again. Donate now: On September 21, The Sameer Project supported the opening of Al-Majd Educational School in Deir Al-Balah by providing stationery sets for 100 students. Each child received notebooks, pencils, erasers, sharpeners, drawing supplies, felt-tip pens, colored pencils, and other essentials needed to begin the school year. It was 100 stationery sets, 100 excited students, and totaled $626 after 11% commission fees to get money into Gaza. For a child in Gaza, having a notebook to write in, pencils to learn with, and a classroom to return to can represent routine, purpose, dignity, and hope - the genocide is ongoing but life tries to continue on, in simple ways like the opportunity to learn. We are proud of every child who continues to show up, learn, dream, and work toward their future. And we are grateful that your support gives us the opportunity to stand beside them. Continue to give to our General Fund, and UK donors please contribute to our JustGiving page so we can receive gift aid: Thank you for being a part of these children’s education. Waleed has sensorineural hearing loss and uses a cochlear implant. His rehabilitation and treatment at Hamad Hospital are essential to helping him hear, communicate, and continue developing. But getting to treatment is another challenge. Help here: Without The Sameer Project’s bus transporting patients to their rehabilitation appointments, Waleed might not be able to receive the consistent care he needs. Transportation is not a luxury. For patients like Waleed, it is part of their medical care. Your donations keep the bus moving and keep children connected to treatment.
