This is hinting towards —Corruption in judiciary ₹5 lakh penalty on Maharashtra FDA. FDA Commissioner Tukaram Mundhe says the action followed a verified food-poisoning case, hospitalisations, and laboratory reports confirming that the food samples were unsafe. Yet the department is penalised for taking action. If this is how courts respond when a regulator cracks down on unsafe food, who will protect consumers? Are courts making it easier for food adulteration cases to survive while officials doing their duty are punished? Is this justice—or protection for the culprits? High Court must explain how this protects the public.
