Makes you wonder why she didn’t suggest it when she was a Government Minister - back when she actually had the power to do something about it. The British people aren’t stupid - They know who is setting the agenda. And it’s not Kemi.

A privilege to be invited to observe Cheshire Police this morning in a well-executed cross-agency raid on vape shops in Runcorn. I witnessed Trading Standards, HMRC and Immigration working in partnership with Cheshire Police to keep our streets safe and legal. Cheshire Police operate a zero-tolerance policy on illegal trading activity. I was proud to be seen out with them today.

I was sorry to miss the House of Commons paying tribute to my friend and colleague Ann Widdecombe. Unfortunately, at the same time, I was speaking in Westminster Hall in a debate on illegal migration and offshore deportation centres. It would be easy to stay quiet right now. Recent events have had a profound effect on us all. But that is not what Reform is about, and Ann would have been the first to say so. She never stayed silent in the face of threats. She spoke up and raised the subjects others were too frightened to confront. So that is what I did today.

There are 5 Turkish barber shops within a short walking distance of each other in Runcorn Old Town. Whilst banks are closing, pubs are disappearing and shops are struggling, Turkish barbers are multiplying, taking over our precious high streets. Why is no one asking questions about how these businesses are operating and whether they’re even legitimate?

Today I asked the Health Minister to back a desperately needed new hospital for Halton and Warrington. Our existing hospital estate has not been substantially upgraded since the 1960s and can no longer keep pace with the needs of our growing population. Residents across Runcorn and Helsby deserve modern healthcare facilities that are fit for the next generation.
