Tomorrow we open Satoshi Army at Museo Marte, the leading art museum in El Salvador. The exhibition features 45 iconic transparent Satoshi statues. "We Are All Satoshi." The work explores the tension between individual creation and collective movement. Satoshi Nakamoto built Bitcoin in solitude. But millions of people built the ecosystem that gave it meaning. The anonymity doesn't seem to be a mystery to solve, it might be an invitation to explore our collective identity. Come see the Satoshi Army. Come see yourself. Open to the public Jan 30-31. Satoshigallery is honored to present the Statue of Satoshi Nakamoto in El Salvador, as powerful symbol of the country’s commitment to Bitcoin and its role in shaping the future of money. 📍San Salvador, Museo Marte (Final destination will be Bitcoin Beach in El Zonte) 🧡🇸🇻 This statue is a tribute to the mysterious person who’s behind the bitcoin protocol. The statue itself wants to give to the viewer this feeling of disappearance, and the sense that the inventor stays between the lines - as of today Satoshi exists in the lines of the bitcoin code, allowing humanity to have the first decentralized payment system. It represents an hacker in his stereotyped pose, sitting with the laptop on his legs, and is a tribute to all the developers and programmers around the world that helped building the bitcoin ecosystem, fighting for transparency and freedom.
