Elon tonight on the Model S and Model X: "Those cars were made with love; That's at the heart of any great product. If the employees making it genuinely love the product, when you genuinely love your kids, you care about things in a different way; You do things to make the product amazing because you love it. And that's what translates to people wanting the product."

After selling out a few days ago, Tesla has just uploaded a lot more used Cybertrucks on their inventory website, but with higher average pricing. Prices now start at $72,900 for a used 2024 Foundation Series Cybertruck with 32,845 miles (vs $66,200 a few days ago for a used 2024 Foundation Series with 2,566 miles). Prices currently peak at $96,100 for a used Cyberbeast Foundation Series with 14,927 miles. There are various Foundation and non-Foundation Series trucks available, including 2024 and 2025 model year trucks. These are different used trucks than the ones from a few days ago since the milage numbers are different. Tesla will transport one to any Tesla delivery location of your choice in the continental US for up to $2,500. Keep in mind the $2,500 delivery transportation fee is an estimate and will be confirmed once an order is placed. Link to used inventory in thread below:

German TV reporter testing Tesla FSD (Supervised) V14 in the country as public transport in rural areas: "I was genuinely impressed. In the situations where we experienced the system, it worked perfectly and safely. I hadn't expected that. Even in the bad weather conditions in the Eifel region. In many cases, it reacted at least as well as a human driver, if not better. If Tesla is ever allowed to roll out this system nationwide in Germany, I think it will have a major impact on mobility. And that will only be the beginning of some very significant changes in transportation..."

More than 350 million vertebrate animals are killed by human driven vehicles every year. In general, autonomous vehicles are much better than humans at dodging animals. A compilation I made of Tesla’s FSD stopping for animals, and often saving their lives:

Positive Tesla Diner review from Forbes' Brooke Crothers: "On Saturday, the Tesla Diner was busy if not packed at times. And obviously not failing, though some blogs and reports want you desperately to believe otherwise. Contrary to all these eatery blogs and car blogs that say the Tesla Diner is a flop, a failure, a disaster, that is not true, as so many things that are often written about Tesla. There are car blogs that devote all their time to taking down Tesla. I went to the Diner on Friday April 3 and Saturday April 4. I estimate that on both days 90+ percent of the chargers (of the 80 Superchargers) were being used. By that metric alone, the Diner is a success. Yes, I’ve been inside the Diner when it’s slow. But as a Supercharger location with the option to grab a snack it’s a success. It seems that the ulterior motive of some “reviews” is to bash Elon Musk and tell you what a bad, bad man he is. That doesn’t give the reader an honest evaluation of the Tesla Diner as a great charging destination, which, again, is its primary purpose for the vast majority of visitors. It's extremely clean. If you want to come to a pristine place to eat, the Tesla Diner is it."

Tesla has released a new video with David Moss, highlighting his recent cross-country trip on FSD (Supervised) with zero disengagements. "Moss’s Model 3 handled every road sign, turn and Supercharger stop, traveling over 2,700 miles in 2 days and 20 hours. Part of his over 12,000-mile streak of FSD (Supervised) usage, David’s cross-country trip demonstrates the reliability, capability and ease of FSD (Supervised)."

Elon Musk in new interview: "10 years from now, probably 90% of all distance driven will be driven by the AI in a self-driving car. It will be quite a niche thing in 10 years to actually be driving your own car." AI already drives for 90%+ of the miles I travel.

Elon Musk’s lawyer, Marc Toberoff, on today’s verdict in the OpenAI case: “I have a one-word reaction: Appeal. This war is not over. We firmly believe what happened with OpenAI was wrong on a very basic level that you can't raise millions of dollars in a publicly subsidized charity, and when it suits you, just turn into a for-profit operation where the officers and directors of the charity enrich themselves to the tune of billions, and that's what actually happened here, and that's just wrong."

Doug DeMuro ranked the Tesla Model S as the #1 most important car of the last 30 years in his new video. Doug: "The Model S really changed the world. It made you think that EVs could be cool, fast, luxurious. It really reset any public opinion about EVs, that you didn't have to make major compromises; They (Tesla) created a cultural icon. If you created a list of the top 10 all-time cars that changed the world, Model S is in the top 5."
